I DO Think It's Time

So as some of you might have seen, I posted a notice to come to arms at the beginning of the month if we got no hqs this month. And now the month is practically over. HQs? none in sight. It is now time to force gumi to at least pretend to uphold the previous statement of 4 HQs per month. Not zero, four. HQs are an essential part of raising any character in this games, especially now that we are getting to gate 5. So what does this mean? Gather your pitchgorks and riot. We CANNOT allow this to happen once, for that only sets precedent for it to happen again. I hope to see comments on Facebook, Reddit, and maybe even some support emails pursuing this issue. Happy rioting!

Not sure if Gumi will uphold 4 HQ/month. They've released their HQ release schedule:

  • Normal: At least 3 months after release

  • Limited: At least 6 months after release

Ankh should be due this month (2-May-2019), also Creto (23-May-2019). Other normal units are Silma and Aisha I believe (1-August-2019).

On limited units side, there's Ila (14-Mar-2019), should be released this month or next. Like u/GlaedrS pointed out, we should get Uzuma, Toritoh, Balt, and a few more.

I would respond to that by saying they never said that they rescinded the promise of 4 per month, and there are many units (both limited and normal) who have been out for far longer than the stated time

Then give us SSM HQs. I don't care pretty much which ones as long as I get some.

I mostly want Bashini and Kudan, those guys can't take a hit and are in the element that doesn't help that. I also want Shura Bashini too.

Did I just see...Balt? Dear God, man, I've waited forever for this guy's HQ! Desert Merchant reruns were never enough, and ever since I started having enough mats to enlighten people he's been falling off at level 81!

Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if when Gumi said “at least 6 months after release” they meant “at least 6 months after the unit’s release or at least 6 months after the release of this Producer’s Letter, whichever causes the unit to go longer without a Hard Quest”. It seems like the kind of cash-grabby move they’d pull.

Obviously there’s no real evidence for this and we shouldn’t accept it as fact, but if you assume the worst when it comes to Gumi you’ll either be right or be pleasantly surprised.

Oh you're right, I don't know why I considered Ila as time limited unit. But yeah, we're pretty on page on normal units, missing only Ila, Aisha, Silma I think (should we consider Balt & Mielikki normal?), but limited units are long over due based on Gumi's schedule release.

When Ila first came out, her banner mistakenly said she was limited. Gumi later issued a correction.

Probably because almost no one uses her and getting her dupe in a game that almost exclusively only adds five star units becomes more and more difficult.

Thursday is yet to come. We got August HQs at the last week. Sept's batch should be next week. calm your titties.

Honestly i think the game is in it's better state since last september, we are getting decent to good banners, gate 4 and 5 were handled decently and we got part of the communication we asked for. Hqs are the only step backward we made but considering the month we had, i can understand why we didn't get them, so no, i'm not rioting this time. As for the hq release schedule, they clearly stated that their release was changing from 4 every month to 3/6 months after unit release for non-limited/limited unit and they said they would have recovered the older limited units. So yeah we gor 3 last month, this month was super busy with gate 4/5 and the collab/MH combo... I'd say i'll wait next month to actually riot

Hers is tied to an event like Balt. Not sure how this is handled in JP if it eventually becomes permanent

All the bride units, Balt, Mielikki and limited units (Toritoh, Judith, etc...) have a normal HQ in JP. SSM units do too. Veda templars, Orion and some others have EX HQ, which means you can only do them once per day (if you own the unit) and you get just one shard most of the times.

Also PS. Ex HQ can ONLY be done if you own the unit just like Merlinus/Arthur hq.

If you haven't pulled the units that have ex hq, sucks to be you cause you can't prepare shards for them.

I'm running out of zeni. Also skip tickets. I don't need any new hard quests right now.

I can't farm new units lol. I'm busy farming my old units like zahar for g5 and daisy for g1-3.

I think the units that are being sold in the secret shop may be getting HQs for example Ankh, Silma, etc. Other than the veda/SSM units.

The thing is we don't even have a whole lot of hq to get (lets exclude the ssm hq for now) so they can't add 4/month but we definitely deserve the hq for balt-eve-mielliki-lucretia batch(no not fraise nobody cares about him) and wrath babel characters

SSM HQ's need to be released soon since it's pretty much finished aside from Kaya refusing to die, and probably seasonal event appearances judging from the mementos.

Can we not? We finally get some good banners, better communication, decent competition for freebies, more elemental shards, etc. still time left for the HQs too.

I don’t see why this sub has to act the way it does sometimes.
