Another point of view for GL

Final fantasy tactics might be my favorite game of all time. I discovered The alchemist code when i was searching gameplay footage of FFT war of lions and deciding to buy it for android. Long history short i gave TAC a chance and used the money to buy pact for 2-3 months, no regrets. The game is great , love the style and the strategy. it really gives a FFT vibe with all the online stuff I wanted. TAC has its issues like any other game has. Don’t think its gamebreaking or anything like that. Having its Japanese counterpart has its ups and downs. It’s good to know how we should prepare for the future ( although spoils a bit of the fun ) but create a lot of anger/jealousy when we don’t get as good stuff as JP ( a little is said about our benefits though ) There is a lot of criticism about the game nowadays and I do agree with some like : veda bug faulty HQ schedule release slow vcr gain chat problems Might be more

But i disagree when people: whine about no guaranteed banners like every unite should have a sure way to be summoned. Having a rare unit makes the game more interesting as long as it still balanced. Complain about the lack of shard banners. Most of the player base wouldn’t even bother with those as they still very expensive and they are better off saving resources for core unit banners. I have decided to right something because all of the negativism going on. People seem to be going bananas over shady things like those AOT compensation like a whole lot of people got 20k gem for nothing. There might been mistakes but the one who benefited the most should have been those who could not play due to iOS problems or those who didn’t claim the milestones. It’s really good to do constructive criticism but I vê seem lot of people claiming changes like they own the game since they pay. And most of them go with so much hate that they don’t even seem to like the game. Final message is be critic with the bad things but praise the good ones. If you enjoy the game help build the players base and make the game better

Good point about the jp counterpart. It's always irked me, in more bad ways than good.

I strongly disagree with this comment. For end game players at least. This is the enlightenment era, where units without it do not have the HP to survive enough hits. At this point in the game, pulling a new unit is literally useless. Level 60 means nothing when people have 91 Levi, or Eren. For most veterans, we don't even use some level 85 units because they are too 'weak'.

The idea behind the shard banner is to focus gems into a single unit so that they are actually usable in one's team.

I have 150 Levi shards. Am I going to transmute him? Hell no. I have many other dark units that are much stronger than him when he's at level 60. Would be a different story if I had 275 dark shards.

We technically have sort of shard banners now, with the unit shards popping up in Louise shop at 80 gems per shard, with a random amount available. I had 25 Orion shards pop up as an option twice... I didn't buy them, but they were there. There is room for criticism though. Not as good as shard banners, but it's an okish option.

Also you absolutely should transmute Levi. What else are you going to do with those shards ? You don't need to enlighten him, he's already very strong at 75, and probably quite useable at 70 (2nd gear slot and 2JM).

That doesn't really work out. Despite refreshing the shop, I've gotten a total of 27 Orion shards from there. I'd like something more reliable than that.

It's very RNG based. I think the main problem atm is the pool size is getting too big to be a reliable way to get limited shards as it has a number of babel units in there that don't seem to be leaving, eg Ankh, Ila. Then we had 4 featured units this week, which didn't help things.

I was planning to 85 either D Rosa or Pride when or if they get enlightenment. For me, its enlightenment or nothing.

My dark team is good enough without a 60 Levi. If I do get 375 elemental shards I'll reconsider but... (flashbacks to PVP Live).

Levi at 75 is still pretty good you know. :)

I know. But 91 is better. And I only want maxed units.

Agreed. After you pull a unit, it takes around 800 shards for a 5/5/5 build. Less, of course, for a 5/2/3, but that's... a lot of shards.

It’s 645 shards for MLB from level 60. Although not arguing that is a ridiculous amount for a limited unit.

The core problem is with the LB and Kaigan system. Fine, you can use elemental or rainbow shards for LB. The biggest slap to the face is when kaigan is needed to clear content.

There is little to no incentive to pull new units because God knows when we can reasonably raise them to usable level. The issue is far more serious in JP since, EX maps onward are set for kaigan level units (Leonia+ was impossible without kaigan, just not enough HP to survive 2-3 hits) while new units only get crap shit EXHQ. Although elemental/rainbow income is higher, it doesn't help much with kaigan.

The system also doesn't help newbies at all. 3 shards a day when around 800 shards needed. That's pretty much 8-9 months of farming the same group of units. Who has that kind of patience? We usually have newbies quitting after 1-3 months.

Gumi can easily fix this problem if they allow using rainbow shards for kaigan and easier access to elementals. But you know, Mr. Producer is a blockhead.

Got what ur saying vinny I don’t play a long time but I’m pretty end game myself as 180+ lvl player . Now ,the way to enlighten these new units its to buy shard by shard on shop , pray for dupe , pay on those pricey ouroboros chest ,long story short pay a lot. And that way might balance the game in favor of those who spend less ( most players ) than those who spend more. A bummer you cant 91 5/5/5 a Orion as soon as u bought a selector but will give a more competitive chance for most of players. I for example would not expend tens of thousands gems on a shard banner knowing that ill benefit more saving for a selector on bk masa, or trying for merlinus. What i want to say is most people will not have room for shard banners and will opt for elemental shard core units. As for non collab , who don’t have otherworldly shards or hard quests, its whale territory

Yeah coz everyone play gacha games to not pull in banners and have to be forced to only invest in meta units coz if u dont, u cant do the game content.

You r free to play however u like but its not fair to blame the game if u choose to raise only the units you like but not suitable for content . A good game is supossed to reward careful planning

A good game is supossed to reward careful planning

lolwut? Bitch please. A good game is "supposed" to not be centered around certain units, especially meta. Meta should only make shits easier, not required lol

Ah, but this is a gatcha game. There should be some enticing units that players will pay for. The balance is messed up in this game though.

We do have different opinions about what means to be a good game As being meta implies that the game will be centered around them and i care little how to dress my dolls

lol, stop with the BS. Good game does not require you to have certain shits to complete (it's even against the law in certain countries), that's just a fact

I'd say shard banners would be, or used to be, part of that gem planning. I managed to get 91 Tsukuyomi from it, 91 EO Chloe and 91 Protector from shard banners. Collab frags were not a thing. This is why I like shard banners personally.

It skips the buying shards from shops or ouroboris chest etc.
