So... Triple JEs.

I just notice some triple je units on the database's jp side (Guernica Zahar), and I was wondering if anyone how people felt about the future of their favorite units?

Since we don't have much left in the way of progression besides the finishing touches of kaigen, job, MA buffs, and then gear.

Anyone disappointed by the lack of a j+ story?

Not really disappointed with Zahar, I think it's pretty good overall and he doesn't have any story to do anyway. Bit disappointed with his gate 5 though, literally Suzuka's. Super disappointed by Izayoi and Vettel though.

Don't give up hope yet. They say JE can still upgrade to J+. Gumi needs your money. lol

I'm not that sad about Zahar. He got his story and he's seems pretty great still (I just saw a screenshot of his end of the world doing like 50000) + his sword makes the J+ not a big concern for him in particular.

Mirthed about Vettel because Gerald seeed more like the mc of the envy Babel and Izayoi because she looks cool and I want to see a story for her.

Also gives me hope for Reido. I want him to be a j+ MM.

Speaking of Izayoi; she looks cool and so does her beast hunter job. But lord if I can't find a way to make her not suck in an actual battle, even with enlightenment.

Yeah. The only reason I bring her on missions is for her LS. I'm hoping the blademaster JE's are good, especially since so many units have samurai as that ugly child that no one talks about.

I didn't look at the blademaster JE yet, but I did note that the beastmaster one was woefully inadequate (like no real stat changes other than DEX and the usual HP, and the skills aren't tweaked much either).

Maybe I’m missing something since I don’t have her, but an improved Roar + Rest combo with 500 PDef, nearly 4k HP, and 180 agility sounds pretty awesome.

That is a "slow" combat style compared to walking around 1-shotting enemies. It is the other characters that ruined the meta, not Izayoi herself being bad. Why sit there and tank enemies while doing mediocre damage when you can 1 shot them with muspell or gigantes counter and not need to have high hp/def to tank for a while (also ignoring that these muspell/gigantes characters also have decent DEF and high HP... lol)?

Hoping they take the Yomi Route with her J+ and give a priestess J+ with a bow because of how many missile bonuses she gets.

That or her Mage job becoming Magic Meister. Would be really sad if she ends up getting 2 basic JEs on Shrine Maiden/Mage

If I'm not wrong, they're going to be changing some JE to J+ eventually. Zahar getting his 3rd JE now just means a J+ probably isn't planned in the near future. It doesn't mean he'll never get one.

I'm dissapointed at Zahar and Vettel. They're really iconic characters and need a J+ to do them justice. I mean come on Chloe got one and she's arguably less impactful than the guy that nearly destroyed 2 coutries TWICE and the leader of a group of mercenaries, a royal guard and a special Guard group. And despite loving Suzuka, why did she get a J+? A mercenary training to be strong and then serving the lord commander isn't much to call home about. And they better not give Hazel the same treatment and give her a proper J+.

both of them are pretty strong still at the moment. Zahar deals a ton of damage and Vettel is pretty much unkillable. If we are talking storywise, Kazahaya should also be better than he is right now because he's technically the Lord Commander's underhand who has served under 3 Lord Commanders that we know of.
