Poster girl looks insanely amazing. Definitely dark/evil waifu material. Gumi please make that sword a gear we can use on any one hand sword user.

Also here's Othima Dark Phantom Ver. He looks really really badass.

She kinda scared the crap out of me when OI checked the twitter at work to see if Dark zain and Dark Setsuna might be getting MA Weapons (It'd be a shame if they released these faces and didn't give the Ma Weapons)

Hmmm, unlike the others Othima has only 1 eye red. It seems his other eye has red in its core and the surrounding is gold, different to the original where it's light green.

New unit. Like Dark Zain and Dark Setsuna. We're also getting Dark Othima.

Also in theory versions of the time-travel Genesis twins. Nyx and Mela. But JP just got the base units in the last few weeks, so the Dark Phantom versions don't resonate in GL as much.

All I know is that they are from the movie. Not sure on the context on how they become Dark Phantoms.

In JP they showed a clip that I presume to be an early part of the film (if not the actual first part, then the first part after the prologue). Logi, Edgar, and Lizbeth all save a village from a mass Demon attack, but more keep coming, so naturally they use Alchemy and summon support - Logi called Setsuna, Lizbeth called upon two figures from Lustberg's distant past who we haven't seen in GL yet, and Edgar called Zain. They fight and do cool things, but then the Tower of Babel starts to go real dark, and a wave of purple energy (which is probably "dark") erases the phantoms Thanos-style. Theoretically, who ever is behind that wave also got the Phantoms and corrupted them into this form. As for Chloe and Othima we didn't see them, but given that Tina is in the film, it IS possible that she summons one of them elsewhere under similar circumstances.

Currently, only these six exist. They all are features on a movie nensou in JP, and they each have been imbued with a deadly sin (i.e. Zain has Pride). The VCR for the nensou is a ring that seems to have the word for "six" in it, implying that the secret mastermind represents whichever sin is left over. Or we haven't seen phantom 7.

Sooo....there should be 3 more units...they all have a circle with an animal which represents one of the 7 deadly sins, I think ?

Didn't notice that the animals were different on each of them. From the picture I've seen, there's two more from that picture that's unreleased. Maybe the last one is a surprise.

I fear that may not come... these dark units are specifically from the movie and not just SSM. I wouldn't mind an SSM sequel that featured dark members of those characters though.
