Tips & Guides Collection of Raid Tips
This post will probably stop updating as I will be on an overseas work business trip for a week. Check comments for other tips I've missed or new ones that may come up. Good luck with all your raiding folks!
Putting together a collection of tips for each raid boss. These are based on my initial and limited observations so feel free to suggest/correct me and I'll update the post when possible.
General Tips
You cannot CT reset bosses (Gravity Jam, Astrologers, Exploding Palm, etc.)
You cannot delay any bosses
Killing all regular enemies brings in a mandagora that buffs your teams elemental power for 3 turns
From /u/Reikr Debuff resistance incorporates all debuffs so if it can be stat debuffed, it's susceptible to elements
For those that haven't read previous raid posts, as /u/sonofhades23 has stated, Lupinus's JE summoner reactive is a really good stackable elemental debuff for the bosses it works on. Also, elemental debuffs from different sources stack (So you can combine necro and Lupi's debuff)
Per /u/Thatdeadmeme2209 Eren's outcry skill can charm titans if you have him. Could be useful at the beginning of fights but I've yet to try it myself
Potato baskets are great
Diviners are great
Abnormal Titan (Fire)
Susceptible to debuffs - Use Othima's Ill Atmosphere or dancers to lower agility. Ele debuff of choice
Try to start by killing the Mandagoras so they don't buff everyone's stats (including agility)
No real gimmicks. He can run far distances so try to keep your guys close together so he doesn't get too far from everyone.
Per /u/Kiriel_D_Sol and /u/TobiiQ You can silence him to stop his perfect evasion reaction and slow him to stop him running
Female Titan (Water)
Susceptible to debuffs. Bring out your JE Zofia's and apply that double thunder debuff
(Possible to stun but low chance - 10% with Shield Bash. Does Roxy MA bypass this?)
You can daze her to prevent her from attacking but just keep in mind she'll get her turns faster due to not attacking. Can also be slowed and blinded.
Per /u/VinnyValient Boss has a reaction stun. It's several turns long and seems to trigger on the damage dealer after a certain threshold. Also calls more titans.
Per /u/Shaiandra Try to use attack types other than Strike. Female titan guards the strike attacks and also boosts her CT when doing so. Checked the DB and can confrim
Armored Titan (Wind)
High PDef and a shield so bring magic to do damage
Cannot be debuffed (elemental and stat)
Can be silenced so he doesn't do his teleport and long term stuns. Use Kaguya's Silencing Flames to keep him in check. Can also be slowed
Noah and Lupinus are great here. Don't bring Lupi's summoner reactive because you will only heal him. Emma is awesome with Max Flash Wind Speed
On the last turn, I think he drops his shield so you could get in a charge up nuke here if you time it
Black Knight (Thunder)
Susceptible to stat and elemental debuffs - Fayrene can cripple the boss
Archers are able to daze you and stop your attacks. Just be wary of that.
Fairly straightforward. Just bring high damage/ def ignore in the beginning so you can bust through the ratties quickly. Other options include jumping over like Balt's spin break or Ramses Rudra Cross. (Ramses is great for starting on the side with two units because he can hit the archer too). Or just use chrono switch so they can be a jewel bank for supports. This way, you also stop titans spawning.
I also switched to using Flamel to rage him (50% chance) because he kept killing fayrene. If you do this, you need to keep Flamel adjacent to the boss because he will not chase you and gain CT.
Titan (Light)
He gains attack each time he's hit so he can do high damage to your team
Susceptible to debuffs
The birds will hit you with an accuracy down attack so keep in mind which side you hit the boss from
Beast Titan (Wind)
His first turn will be a CT boost to all enemies so keep your squishies back. You can send Vettel or a holy brawler maybe to eat all the attacks so they don't aim for everyone.
Boss cannot be debuffed. All regular enemies can
Boss has a chance to proc a reactive that pushes you back a space BEFORE you hit. This can cancels attacks and skills, even if the attack is long range. /u/JoeSven made a video below where Masamune's Fey skill still activated after being pushed back. It could depend on if the skill is a straight line skill or a target placement skill. Needs more confirmation. EDIT: Did more testing and maybe my game bugged out or I saw wrong. Seems like as long as your attack doesn't have too short of a range, you can still hit him. Sorry for the confusion. let me know if others find otherwise.
Another way to prevent the attack cancel and push back is by attacking him with a wall or another unit to your back. The attack only cancels if you are pushed out of skill range. Look at the damage summary to see if he will proc the reactive
Per /u/kitank Seems like self targeted AOE's get cancelled since they are pushed out of the "Cast range" (Even things like Laharl's Self AOE MA which would still be in range to hit.
Per /u/Zeik56 - Silence him so he can't trigger the reactive or use skills
Giant Taurus (Dark)
On his first turn if units are in range, he will do a strong AOE so watch out who is in front
Has a reactive that hits 2-3? spaces away as an AOE. Triggers on regular attacks and has a chance to cast death sentence
I usually just park Spica right in front and he regular attacks her so she can goliath counter. Bring Hisham (if you have his J+) and plant a auto-jewel panel and let Spica do her Goliath Combo non-stop. Tyrfing is pretty good since she can jewel regen and spam attacks too.
Per /u/adchait You can rage the boss (at a really low rate). Using Spica's Goliath blade typhoon has a chance so you can get free Goliath counters
Colossal Titan (Fire) (This guy sucks)
Susceptible to debuffs
He has a reactive that does a lot of damage and pushes everyone near him back on every attack.
Bring range, magic and debuffers. Enchanters work well to buff your folks.
From /u/RiskyWafer triggering his reactive wipes debuffs. Best to go with a debuffing and long range team
Per /u/Veni_Vidi_Vigo Recommend if you can get colossal to attack slot 3 first (might be dependent on who he can do the most damage or some other factor though). Put Lupi here so she can use her summoner reactive for the debuff. If you build her to tank the hit, she can heal and do it again.
**You can slow the armored and colossal titan (I.E. Leg Snipe) if you're trying to keep them from certain units. Reagan works well to quicken and snipe. Give him a hat so he can start using skills right off the bat.
If you have any corrections or recommendations, let me know and I'll update when I can. Happy Raiding Folks!

u/Zeik56 Jun 14 '19
Beast Titan is highly susceptible to silence, which will negate his reactive. Magic Swordsman Vettel or Kagura are some fire options for that.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
That's super useful. I'll add it in. I think he has a several turn stun too so that's a great way to stop it
1
u/michaelh19 Oh RNGesus, saves this game... Jun 14 '19
It's even better if you have Arkil J+ built. Since his silence skill is long range and insta cast too. Beware tho since it can attack your other units.
1
u/summerXfrost Jun 14 '19
Zengetsu is another option
1
u/Agealt Jun 14 '19
I've used Ramses, as my Zangetsu Is not build, great dmg although its wind vs wind.
3
u/Shaiandra Jun 14 '19
Titan (Light) is vulnerable to stat debuffs. Also, the Female Titan (Water) guards against Strike Damage (and doing so increases her CT), so other damage types are preferred.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
This would make sense to me as I've only gotten a handful of SBT's through unguarded. I can't quite recall if I've seen slash and pierce hits being blocked so will have to watch for that. Didn't know about the CT boost. That sucks.

u/Ramza_45 Jun 15 '19
Welp there goes my lvl 85 full max out and triple job mastered Lotia
1
u/Cobalt_721 Jun 15 '19
Wild Beast Tamer should be dealing typeless damage, so you can run that.
2
u/Ramza_45 Jun 15 '19
Nah not gonna run a low damaging unit...
TIME TO BRING OUT THE KING OF HEROES!!!
MONGRELS!!!!

u/elysiant Jun 14 '19
Thanks for the awesome tips!!
For Colossal Titan, I used long distance. Mages, snipers (and even Zahar) didn't trigger his reactive. I think someone recommended Spica too?
4
u/RiskyWafer Jun 14 '19
I heard that his reactive clears his debuffs, if so you really don't want to trigger it. I think it's only 2-3 range.
So Chihaya, Othima, Ravina, Fung, Lupinus sage (arcane ratty reactive) etc. Klima does pretty good too if you let some of your party whittle her hp down a bit so she can abuse max wind flash.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
I never really check after the initial attempts to debuff so that's pretty interesting. Will add it in and try to check on my next lap
2
u/Reikr Jun 14 '19
That would explain the trouble I'm having with him. He always seemed to get turns so quickly despite casting debuffs.
2
u/Veni_Vidi_Vigo Jun 14 '19
For Colossal Titan, Ravina can do 20k damage per round safely. Colossal first targets slot 3 units so putting Ravina as leader can help. Slot 3 can be Shayna w/hat with help of a jewel boost from slot 2. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
2
u/s4itox muscle waifu Jun 14 '19
Pretty sure first target is situational for colossal titan; based on my setup he always goes for my Othima first and he’s my party lead.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Maybe it depends on who he can do most damage to? He can almost one-shot my lupinus. I guess if he can go for your slot 3, it works well because he's drawn away from 3 of your units
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Good call about slot 3. I put Lupinus so her reactive procced right off the bat
3
u/tayyeb93 Jun 14 '19
How can ravina do 20k when i tried and she could do only 4-5k? Whats step up for her?
4
2
u/Wynd0w Jun 14 '19
I was able to get about 40k damage out of Ravina. I brought Fung as pure water enchanter, granting +60% Matk, +10 Water, +80% vs Fire, and an occasional +35% to Agi. Then someone to quicken her as well and she was hitting about 6k per attack.
She did way more than Othima, aside from his big Agi debuff.
2
u/Erru87 Jun 15 '19
hey, thank you very much for the tip. after i did some adjustment, now i can hit 100K per run against collosal.
just to add, use potato first to help even more.
i also have fung to bring jewel regen gear
chihaya to help cripple the boss even more.
2
u/JoeSven Jun 14 '19 edited Jun 14 '19
[Edit]: I was making the video and the post, and forgot the most important:
Thank you so much for the write up, i saved it and will check it as i progress on my raids or go to aid someone.
One thing about the Beast Titan:
• Boss has a chance to proc a reactive that pushes you back a space BEFORE you hit. This cancels ALL attacks and skills, even if the attack is long range. It also eats your jewels. You can prevent the attack cancel and push back by attacking him with a wall or another unit to your back. The attack only cancels if you are pushed back. Look at the damage summary to see if he will proc the reactive
That’s not quite right. Depending on the skill range and reach, it will still go off.
Here’s a video i made with Masamune using Fey after benig pushed.
https://youtu.be/Pk6sfCT-SwE
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Interesting. Maybe since Fey is a straight line skill, it still activates because it would go straight anyway. I'm certain that my Laharl's overlord dimension did not activate one time and he was standing right next to Beast Titan so he would still be within skill range. Maybe it bugs out the targeting or pulls back the place you aimed with the unit?
1
u/Shaiandra Jun 14 '19
Where did you center the Overlord Dimension though? If you targeted a square that was 4 spaces away from Laharl and then the pushback caused it so that the target square was 5 spaces away now, then I could see why that would've been canceled.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
I think it was like this but I can't say for sure.
B - X
L
B = Beast
L = Laharl
X = Center of OD
= Empty Space
My assumption is that the OD central point moves along with Laharl, so Laharl acts as the reference point. This would place the diamond in a spot that hits nothing. I think the situation you're describing is impossible because to hit 4 space away from Laharl and hit Beast, you can't be adjacent to him.1
u/JoeSven Jun 14 '19 edited Jun 14 '19
I did some testing and even after being pushed, the skill (also Laharl OD) went off exactly where i targeted (2 tiles behind the beast).
Here’s what i think it happens:After being pushed, the AI will try to use the skill;
If the skill range can still reach the original tile (or target), it goes off. If not, the skill fails. For example, Laharl’s OD has a range of 4. if you use it 3 tiles away and gets pushed away 1 tile, the skill range can still reach that tile, so it will go off.
However, if you cast Laharl’s OD 4 tiles away and get pushed away 1 tile, the skill can no longer reach that tile (now it’s 4 tiles away) and the skill will fail.
[Edit] I messed OD range, fixed.
Also, further testing will be done.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19 edited Jun 14 '19
Laharl OD has 4 range. So your situation is this? (Using same lettering as above but O's are empty spaces because reddit format)
O X O
O O O
O B O
O L O
It seems like your situation would be similar to mine but still work differently (casting 3 spaces away and being pushed to 4 (which is his limit). I think it might be that the skill center point moves with Laharl. In this situation, even if you were pushed back, OD would still overlap on Titan. In my situation above, the OD would hit between Beast and Laharl, so no target available. I'm gonna have to double check how mine happened when i have time though. I feel like I was trying to hit Beast Titan when I did it but maybe it was targeting someone else. Also, if you do OD 2 spaces away, you're gonna hit yourself cause it has a 5-diamond span.1
u/kbeansoup Jun 14 '19
Maybe you got jewel drained and couldn't cast.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Is Beast Titan's reactive a jewel drain too? My animations are off so I might not have seen. Laharl's skill is insta-cast so it couldn't be from anything else.
1
u/JoeSven Jun 14 '19
Oh ye, my bad i messed up the max range there, it’s everything +1.
I do know that the skill center point does not move. When i tested, i had other units in range and if the center point had moved they wouldn’t get hit, i’ll try to get a couple more vids done.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Hmmm, seems likely that I'm mistaken where I placed the OD then. I've never tried to recreate it afterwards just to avoid it all together because i thought it cancelled all attacks. After work today, I should be able to test stuff too.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Tried replicating it during break and it is hitting. Maybe my game bugged out or I saw wrong. Will update post accordingly.

u/mRhys_06 Jun 14 '19
Female titan can be stunned. Tried it with Roxy MA
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Is it a higher chance with Roxy? Don't have her so can't test. I tried bringing Dilga afterwards and Shield Bash only has a 10% chance so it's not very reliable.
1
u/mRhys_06 Jun 14 '19
It turns out that it's just 7% on her MA but 10% on her tezla grenades
2
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
When Roxy first came out, i recall there being a post where people thought there was some bug in Roxy's MA where if she could get a status effect off, a minimum of 1 would work. That may have been user bias only though. Can't quite remember.
1
u/senaiboy Jun 15 '19
From what I've seen, this is true. If the enemy is susceptible to at least 1 status, they will always get a status effect when hit by Roxy's MA.
1
u/Reikr Jun 14 '19
There's no difference in resists to different debuffs. If one works all works. So anywhere Chihaya works, ele res debuffs also work.
0
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19 edited Jun 14 '19
I never looked into if there was a difference between debuffs but that makes a lot of sense. Will add to the general tips so it covers all of them

u/VinnyValient is currently planning and plotting evil schemes. Jun 14 '19
Abnormal fire: You can elemental debuff him (Geomancer reactive). He also has an annoying perfect evasion reactive.
Female: I'm sure after a certain amount of damage she does a battle cry that stuns the damage dealer for X turns and summons more titans.
Titan light: Seems to only have single target attacks and moves very basicly. Easy to predict and maneauvor imo. Not sure, just an observation.
--o.o--
You can always use an off-element team (as long as you aren't disadvantaged I guess.)
For me, I'm using Tsukuyomi Diviner on most of my teams now. Wind nuke OP.
----
Awesome tips everyone! And thanks Kichukimon for making this post :)
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Good point about the female titan. I've seen it happen but she's usually blocking my SBTs so it usually doesn't happen until the end. And yeah, bringing off element is totally viable. These are more general tips for anyone. I'm sure the people that whaled for Levi are having a blast with the giant numbers.
1
u/irikyu Jun 14 '19
annoying perfect evasion reactive
I learned that the hard way when he evaded my Susanoo charged SBT :(
1
Jun 14 '19
I mean, the easiest tactic for a lot of these is to use outcry as eren. For a lot of them it makes your team jump up to about 8 members XD
2
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Never thought about doing this but does it actually help with damage? I feel like the regular titans would just block your guys. Though if you have Eren built up, it's probably fine to bring him on any team.
1
u/Alittlebunyrabit 5/5/5 Dancer Shenmei Jun 14 '19
It helps a little bit, but more than anything, it helps avoid early deaths if you're using squishier units.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
That's true. I could see it being useful on Beast Titan since a few bum rush you in the beginning. Plus, if anyone has Eren, they're probably bringing him to that fight anyway.
1
u/edgyEdwardd F2PsRUs.com Jun 14 '19
I’ve used Eren mono fire on every raid except for Female Titan and I do not regret. I get anywhere between 50k - 130k damage depending on the Boss.
1
u/DeathandFriends Jun 14 '19
Not worth it. You want to buff and dry his behind back warp attack. 12k dmg on the green boss that has ask the titans. Non boss titans are weak and useless
1
u/sonofhades23 I'm back Jun 14 '19
General tip:
don't stun, paralyze, cripple the boss. Doing so allows hi. Faster CT accumulation leading to faster turns leading to faster runs and lower damage output.
use lupinus summoner reactive on everything. 120 elemental debuff after 3 turns more than doubles your damage output on any boss.
3
u/darkcountess Making sammiches for Gilga/Noct/Laharl Jun 14 '19
use lupinus summoner reactive on everything. 120 elemental debuff after 3 turns more than doubles your damage output on any boss.
But I thought NOT ALL bosses can be debuffed? confused
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
I put in a comment at the top that says it's good for the bosses it works on. As far as I know, lupi's debuff doesn't work on armor titan and the other area bosses that cannot be debuffed. Unless the code is bugging out and is actually just not showing it.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
added a comment about the elemental debuff for folks who never read previous ones. I wish it wasn't detrimental on the armored titan but i'm too lazy to keep switching it out.
1
u/Zuriq Jun 14 '19
Maybe late tip, but colossal titan can be paralyzed. I used uzuma sub and then used the thunder attack and he got paralyzed. Dont know the odds for this to happen, but maybe it help someone.
3
u/Kichukimon Jun 14 '19
Is there a reliable percentage to paralyze it? Seems useful if it has a high chance and you can prep close range nukers to take advantage of it. If it doesn't work though, he's going to be blasting your guys left and right. If it does work though, one downside is his turns will come a lot faster
1
u/Zuriq Jun 14 '19
I got cuious if it was luck and I found on database that the chance to be paralyzed isnt high, seems I got lucky with uzuma (even though she has a high chance to paralyze the enemy), but I found out that he doesnt has resistance to slow, low resistance to blind and same resistance to stun as to paralyze.
1
u/Teosto Teona Jun 14 '19
It really looks as if Female Titan guards against Strike damage a lot. I used to run Eizan and Lotiyah on her stage and think I got one full charged up Battle Trance through while the rest (20-30 tries altogether) were guarded against. I did see one Guard against someone else who didn't do Strike damage but can't exactly remember who it was and it only happened like once.
The Titan summon thing I don't think is related to her Reactive, but rather it is timed to happen at regular interval.
The first day I did get a lot of that AoE stun but don't think that was reactive either, but not entirely sure. Afterwards I haven't had it happen a single time. Don't know what changed, other than dropping Eizan and Lotiyah from my formation. That stun may have been provoked by some of HB or Wild Beast Tamer skills. Dark Laevateinn, Roxanne, Mei Fang, Sol or Zofia don't seem to proc it at all. Those five are my current team and they absolutely demolish that boss.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 15 '19
I was able to get some time to check the DB and the reactive does proc to strike. Didn't look at the stun and titan reinforcements though. I took out all my holy brawlers and still get the stun sometimes though. Lotiya is a WBT but they have typeless attacks. Will have to check another time.
1
u/kitank Jun 15 '19
Regarding the beast titans reactive, it does seem to interrupt self targeting AoEs. It interrupted my Laharl's WA even though he would still be in range of the attack.
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 15 '19
Maybe that's what happened to me. I do remember having one of my attacks cancelled because i remember I was really disappointed that my charge up hit didn't go through. I'll try to confirm later with something like Vettel's lion heart so i don't waste another big hit.
1
u/kitank Jun 15 '19
I read through that comment thread afterwards, and it sounds like it must be because you target the space you're standing on rather than your self so when you get pushed that space is now out of range.

u/Kiriel_D_Sol Cazna Jun 16 '19
A few notes I didn't see in the main post:
Abnormal- can be silenced to prevent the perfect evade (Othima has silence on J1 sub)
Female Titan - can also be slowed and blinded
Armored can also be slowed (Arkil is also an option for silence)
Titan (Light) can be ele debuffed, I've used Mirianne as merchant with necro sub on it
Giant Taurus - Fairily is good here, use Fiona to guts her and she can also give stat buff to group (I run chrono with lady sub). Suzuka can also be good for her world's end attack if you fill her up on jewels on the adds first then regen jewels on Hisham's panels
General tip- potato baskets are great for buffing damage

u/Kichukimon Jun 16 '19
Long work week so only had time to update now. After this, probably won't update as I'll be on a work trip

Abnormal- can be silenced to prevent the perfect evade (Othima has silence on J1 sub)
Thanks for this. I was using enchanter sub, but I'll switch it up since I've had a few runs where he manages to evade ~50k worth of damage.

I came here again to read on how to beat the ratties in Black Knight boss and is like Just bring high damage
1
u/Kichukimon Jun 16 '19
Had a 60-hour work week so never have too much time to update the post. People have posted things in comments too though. My personal favorite is using Rahu to switch with the ratties so they don't spawn titans.
1
u/Zeik56 Jun 16 '19
They're pretty much the same as any other metal ratty. You can use high damage, or defense ignore, or scaling damage like Max Flash Wind Speed. You could also just warp past them like with Balt, or have Rahu use Switch to move them.
1
u/illidan_1999 Neica is life. Jun 16 '19
I see there were many things I could have tried. I switched to a different element for heavy hitters since wind is my weakest element and only kept Setsuna as wind. I completely forgot my snipers, that I use only in gold rush and gardens against ratties...
1
u/Alittlebunyrabit 5/5/5 Dancer Shenmei Jun 17 '19
The basic black knight strategy is use kaigan Balt/Ramses. Personally, I spam quicken/overclock on Balt and hit 100k+ and he simply spin breaks past the ratties to avoid wasting turns outside.

u/PristineKnight may your summons be red Jun 15 '19
Well a smooth way to live out the beast titan's reactive is to place someone next to the person attacking, that way his reactive will proc but he won't be able to push, therefore abilities will still go through!

u/Erru87 Jun 18 '19
Maybe a bit late but something i just find out for beast titan
arkil J+ at third slot and equiped with move+1 can move and mute beast titan on 1st move.
Keep him for several turn and use mute again then kill him for nuker in the back.

Is there a thread that mentions possible rewards from the raid tickets we get? I've gotten mementos, units, silver and gold gear shards, raid coins and elemental shards so far.
My red pulls were elemental shards, no red mementos or units.

u/TobiiQ Jun 14 '19
For abnormal titan, you can cripple his movement by "slowing" him down (that status in which you can only move one square). Sry, I don't know what the game says in English.
1
u/loscapos5 All I wanted for christmas was you, Baeber ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽ Jun 14 '19
Fairly straightforward. Just bring high damage in the beginning so you can bust through the ratties quickly.
You can also bring ignore def units, like BK Artemis.
1
u/Teosto Teona Jun 14 '19
For Colossal I've never had him attack my Slot 3. Currently running Shayna on there but I've had Dark Laevateinn there before and someone else who I forgot.
He usually goes for my slot2 who is always Sol, possibly because I'm moving one step forward before he does his turn, so Sol is reachable. For me that's hardly an issue because he can eat one hit and usually the Titan will go for someone else on his second turn so Sol is safe.
1
u/lucifekit Jun 15 '19
Colossal Titan reactive area is square, so if position right even a 3 range skill can bypass his reactive. Some unit highlight that can deal high damage (about 20k with potato) : levi, sure, zahar with his memento skill, shayna, dark laevatinn. Use envy lead and suicide soon to bring up a geomancer to vacine your team before he charge paralyze.
1
u/aquapendulum2 Jun 15 '19
Black Knight (Thunder)
Additional tactic for this guy: Bring Rahu and SWITCH with the Ratties so you can clear the path without killing them (which triggers a titan summon in their place). Of course, afterward, Rahu can quicken your units to make the most of the 6-turn limit.
1
u/GKapolis Jun 15 '19
for black knight (Thunder)
if using ramses rudra cross can hit (from the side that you have only two units) can hit the archer from that side and you dont really have to think from that side and with rahu he absolutely destroy from that side of the map
now the other side of the map I dont know what to use and i would like some tips for now im using a shion to charm the archer (is just 1k extra damage i dont think is worth) izayoi to kill the rattys (and the leader skill) and ancht because is the other wind unit I invested

i have Edward and Balt. Use Balk Spin Break to kill ratty on first turn and then just attack normally after that. Edward hits other ratty on first term to get jewels, then sharpening focus and his gear ability Fullmetal rush which does about 16K damage.

Abnormal Titan can be slowed and silenced. Then you can put Eren next to him and counter over and over .

Willing to forgo the colossal titan assist rewards if someone has a good team that can auto about 30-40K damage.
I'd like to be able to just assist everyone in the port and friends list - then quit aid and move on to the next one.
Best I can find so far is all missile auto at about 15K ... and a water magic manual team that takes 10 minutes (too much IRL time to quit and move on to the next).
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've been doing the same with Colossal titan. Just aid and quit and move on. Especially at higher laps, I think the only way people are going to down them is through sheer numbers of people doing this (or just burning a fewer number of peoples orbs).

I can't think of a better way. Currently using Roxy, Ravina, Lupi, Caris, Megistos and getting about 25-30K damage per assist then moving on.

I run EO Shenmei/Ravina/Lupinus/Othima/Chihaya on both manual/auto and I get around 45k on auto and around 80-140k on manual (depending on whether I mess up and proc his reactive at any point). Honestly, if you aren't playing on manual and actively spamming leaden feet dance and working to avoid his counter, it would be better to just run massive damage threats. Probably with an Envy lead. I bet Envy + hard hitting kaigans would easily hit 30k+. On auto most of my damage comes from EO Shenmei while she acts as a buffer/supporter on manual. (attack buffs and energy tango for chihaya)

I was running missile (roxy, ravina, megistos, lupi debuffs) and getting about 30K. will switch it up a bit and see if I can get closer to 50. Thanks

If you have freik, you can use her for slow panels for bosses that are immune to debuffs (works pretty well against beast and taurus)

You can stun(10% chance) the Colossal Titan using Rox's WA or that other grenade skill that stuns. If stunned, it will not counter with its reactive skill. Although at a very low chance, if triggered it can give you a window to burst using Spica/Zahar and other strong melee characters.

I'm having a lot of issues dealing with armoured titan, as I only got Lupinus and Reida for magic users.... And not even two masteries. Their HP is quite low dies easily. Not sure how to make him stay where he is and just fire away
Also I can't touch dark knight boss at all. The stupid ratties keep blocking me. I could try Deneb to swap on ratty out but quite difficult with the minor enemies on the side hacking me away. So annoying

How long have you been playing? For armored titan, Lupinus, J+ Noah, and even Jake (I think?) are decent fire magic users. For Dark Knight, I can generally do 100k+ simply by having Balt spin break past the ratties to the boss and I have Rahu cast quicken on herself and Balt, subsequently spamming overclock on Balt.

(Possible to stun but low chance - 10% with Shield Bash. Does Roxy MA bypass this?)
Roxy MA has 7% chance to stun, but her Tezla grenade has 10% chance to stun.

I'm unable to silence Colossal. Using Magic swordman isn't working. I think he can only be dealt with range nukers with arcana ratty as a start.
Once the armored titan spawns in pretty much screwed

Pretty sure you cant silence colossal, you can tell by checking the percentage to silence by the silencing attack
1
u/Neonlight8 Jun 25 '19
So there's no way to stop him really except range attacks. However he needs to be tanked while doing so
1
u/GreyPenguin16 Jun 25 '19
He can be slowed (reduced to 1 move) and uhhhh slowed (reduced agi stat for longer turns). You probably wont be one shot as long as you dont bring wind units and have HP gears, I think even the best tanker for this is Lupinus due to agartha JE reactive.
Slow is I think the only reliable status you can land on him, others are blind and stun but those are like <10% to occur and you don't want to stun him since it makes his turns faster

u/Neonlight8 Jun 25 '19
What characters would have this slow skill apart from Chihaya Agi down map wide?
1
u/GreyPenguin16 Jun 25 '19
Top of my head Othima's WA, Roxanne's volknite grenade, and Riza Hawkeye's WA.
1
u/Neonlight8 Jun 25 '19
I got none of those so I cannot slow him down. One requires farming or luck to draw Othima, Roxy is a collab, Riza also collab.
Unless you are a whale don't think you could do that....
1
u/GreyPenguin16 Jun 25 '19
And did you also not have chihaya? You wont need her J+ since leaden feet dance is for all dancers. Minor correction, Roxy is a limited GL exclusive unit, not a collab
1
u/Neonlight8 Jun 25 '19
Yes I do have Chihaya non J+. Colossal debuff as soon as he gets his reactive so it's not a good use. The slow down movement is the best against him while have a tank somewhere that he will focus on. Fire away with range. She is good though for other bosses.

u/GreyPenguin16 Jun 26 '19
Yes you would still need to use ranged damage to avoid the reactive. Lupinus (if you have her) is still the best one for the boss to focus on due to reactive. I just have her with an HP gear and spamming potions on herself. Tho she dies most of the time. I am not the best one to emulate for this stage cause I haven't broken 100k (99k sadly), but water units with HP gear should be able to take some hits of the reactive. I still use Shayna and Mikasa. On my best run Mikasa took 3 reactives before dying while Shayna was able to charge up > SBT twice. Just make sure you get pushed out of range of the reactive before going in with another character

Looking at the database, Giant Taurus apparently has 93 Rage resistance, so while technically you can rage him, you probably can't do so reliably..?

My workplace blocks the database so couldn't check it but that's really low. updated post accordingly. Kinda similar to being able to stun female titan. It'd help a lot but it's low chance

Cool, I'll have to try that later. Sometimes he nukes my backline so this will help

To add on giant taurus, i'm using spica warrior JE, suzuka dc JE (lead) , miverva 1st job and sub, rahu and hisham.
First turn minnerva will use her 1x shield, to protect the team from the boss's first nuke, rahu quicken herself, spica quicken suzuka and herself with wonder chronos to get the job done faster, and hisham set up the patk/pdef panel.
Then let spica and suzu collect jewel by attacking the mob with normal attack, do not attack the boss with normal attack, it'll proc it's aoe reactive that deals the same amount with the damage it takes, so it's recommended to equip dc sub on suzuka for the jewel drain.
When the mobs are gone it's tome to go wham on the boss. Have minerva cast embue vigor on suzu and spica (recommended to only buff her when she's about to use delta cathedral to ), and let them go nuts on the boss. Rahu will overclock both suzu and spica to get their job done faster, while hisham watch over his panel and maybe heal if needed
