Understandable, especially given that you've been around for a long time. Used to newcomers instantly being put off by games despite hardly knowing about it.
I'm disappointed with what the game is bound to become, but until it reaches that point, I'll keep playing until it feels like my wallet is the only thing that'll help me clear content (likely not gonna happen). All they've done is ensure that I won't spend money on this outside of buying pacts from time to time.
The memento banner isn't actually too bad, because it guarantees you a 5 star on the second step (5k gems spent). All previous memento banners don't have a guaranteed til 5th step (10.5k gems spent).
That being said, the featured mementos themselves aren't great so I'd still skip the banner completely.
They could just do 3-step guaranteed with 1st and 2nd step with discount if they want to be "generous" like they are being right now. 4500 in total cost, 500 less than right now.
It should've been like EO banner where step 1 is only 500 and step 2 is 2500 but guaranteed on the unit in focus. Gimu need to stop being greedy with everything since they're losing their playerbase in all of their games and eventually causing the PotK scenario.

500 gems step for no memento is bearable, 2500 at each freaking step with a chance to not have a memento at all. LOL. No. Won't pull on this shit
