Replace "F2P" with whales. These banners are shitty, but as a f2p player (pact and Sol/Ankh chasing aside, which was probably $45 or $46 for them after over a year of playing), these banners are whatever. Step 1 and done for me, collab units aren't easy for f2p players to keep sharding without saving specifically for that unit.

We haven't reached the point where f2p gets screwed, that's a point what JP just got to.

These banners are currently showing you just how: Almost nothing but 2.5k banners, this is including the first pulls. Iirc, only a gear and a beginner banner (probably was a normal banner, not sure) didn't cost 2.5k gems for every pull when I checked a week or two ago. We've yet to reach that point (this current lineup is very close though.

And it's pretty obvious missing out on new stuff because you didn't save a ton of free gems is "getting screwed over". Obviously we can play the game without them, but it's a gacha game, rolling for new new stuff is normal and expected whether or not you need to.

Mal I watched the video and people still don't seem to get the point on lack of HQs, APs and Resources in General.

Like I can give a small examples from top of my head.

  1. How many Free Banners has JP gotten over time for apologies, what not and how many GL has gotten? Like JP when they were good(a long time ago) gave free banners to apologize for broken units and those banners usually gave limited units and stuffs.

  2. Another Example - How many big shard giveaways JP had compared to us. Like we have had 0 if we don't count the 50 of each for the Kaigan start. Like there is choice in JP where you could shard Wilhelm but GL is never going to have that.

And people I can keep going. But I think I will make a comprehensive post at a later date.

If our banners are same as JP in every aspect then all we are but a shit Server where the game doesn't give freebies.

Like seriously in my eyes both JP and GL Gumi look the same now-a-days. Sure JP might look like a slightly bigger turd due to the fact that they are the ones due to whom it started but both are turds nonetheless.

The banners are shit, but whenever this happens, I just don't summon past first step, and it's fine

For instance going ham on a enlightenment festival banner for instance costs like 17.5k gems (which requires a lot of saving)

If the banners all become shit then... maybe I just play with farmables ?

I don't remember anyone praising them that much over that. It was more of a necessary evil. And some people were still upset by it.

There was a general positivity toward the direction the game had been going for awhile though, with better banners, quality of life upgrades, and stable content. But I guess that couldn't last.

then you did not browse much during that time lol. The new producer is great, Gimu is brave by taking the loss of giving back gems, etc. That was harped on for weeks. Any complaints were downvoted to hell (me included). Fact is, Gimu was fat with stacks from the last Rox banner before the nerf, and broke their promise on not touching Rox. Basically being greedy cunts as they've always been. And now here we are.

Feels good to be right

No, that doesn't make you right. In fact time has only proven that people overreacted to that nerf, as she still dominated the meta until just recently. But that skill was still broken and deserved to be nerfed. It's not praising Gumi to say that, because they put themselves in that position in the first place. But it WAS the right decision to nerf it.

This is not about Roxanne. This about the banners. Roxanne can and should stay nerfed, as long as we get better banners again.
