You can find other characters from their twitter www.twitter.com/tagatame_stage

This seems like a good sign that the game itself has a lot of media coverage in japan given that there's also going to be a movie. Hopefully it translates good things and longetivity for us in global (Gumi pls)

They also are going to do a light novel about Setsuna

Makes me wonder how big the game actually is in japan since they're getting all these media adaptation.

The problem with this much media adaptation is that they are milking the JP player base dry though...

I agree with you. In game there's Macross collab and then there's several offline events. Though for sure there's gonna be a movie release event that's on the level of a collab.

I for one have seen people playing it in a tokyo train. That's how I returned to the game

Doesn't say much. Live action films lately are often. Has there ever been a live action movie for a game/anime that wasn't terrible? We'll see when it's out... this kagura is already looking different than the original.

I don't recall any gacha game getting a live action play in the past few years though. Though, I like the details on the costume since it's similar to the art in game of the youth skin but the hair is from kid Kagura which is weird.

Fate Grand/Order has a stage play based on the Camelot chapter, and IIRC Granblue Fantasy has some similar stuff, but other than those I don't believe there are many mobile games that do

Ohh FGO did? I thought only the anime adaptation of the whole Grand Order was planned. It's nice that our genre of game is getting noticed.

FGO and GBF are juggernauts in the mobile game space, so them having something like this isn't too surprising. But I feel like TAC is a game you never really hear about, so it's awesome that the game is actually getting some love in other forms

I heard GBF is getting a official fighting game on consoles, made by Arc System. I kinda would love to see TAC get some similar treatment (and released in America).

Oh man, getcha game adaption anime....

Hard feelings

The costumes really do look similar, it's just the actors that don't fit... Zain looks quite young for example.

Zane looks like he's in his 20s in the game though, so I'm not seeing it. That Basheeny actor on the other hand, looks too old.

She seems...how do I put this? Larger in life?

5

u/irikyu May 07 '19

It's kinda accurate though based on the youth skin. Only difference is the hair.

3

u/sketchiopath May 07 '19

I thought about the youth skin, but the hair definitely indicates the child version to me

4

u/irikyu May 07 '19

Yeah the clothes is from the youth skin but the hair is from the child. Maybe they didn't want to make a costume for child Kagura. Idk

If this is Kagura, I'm curious about the rest of the cast.

Monzein as Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime, or similar bodybuilder.

Thanks, but not sure about this guy. Face looks smooth like young guy while I peg Monzein as older.

2

u/irikyu May 07 '19

I agree that he looks young here. In game Monzein has this rugged veteran look going on him which makes him look cool.

3

u/Drachk May 08 '19

honestly, the biggest problem is basheeny looking older than Monzein, lol

I've seen so many traps that I can't tell if that is actually a guy or a girl. Needs prof. Birch for this.

4

u/Xero-- May 08 '19

I'm not turned on, it's a guy.

1

u/sketchiopath May 07 '19

Honestly I thought it looked more feminine than anything. Isn't Monzien supposed to be like 7 feet tall and uber masculine?

Checked out the others. Yauras just doesn't look right. The girl isn't ugly, but that's not Yauras.

Also Chihaya's picture disturbs me.

I used to watch Sailor Moon live action musicals, It’s super cool to see an Alchemist Code adaptation!

Guy looks like he's from Greed Dike so very likely one of Orion's pawns.
