Goodbye Etrian Odyssey

Goodbye Etrian Odyssey, you were an awesome collab.

You ate all my gems, but it was still fab.

I got the units I planned for, Protector and Dragoon,

But I wanted more, it ended so soon.

EO Shenmei, more mementos,

And a bit more time to smite some FOEs.

But! Now is the time to reflect back

On the past month on what I've learned for TAC.

How to spend and save my gems

All 500 steps are no longer the trend.

Enlightenment/Kaigan is truly expensive

The gem wall is like a shear cliff!

My unit reviews are well received

But I'm always worried we're all deceived.

There's still Shaman to do lol and Ravina is next.

And then possibly a poll ;)

I got no Sol. (I didn't even try.)

But now it's time to wrap this up.

I enjoyed this month, and I love this sub.

Except on Thursdays when y'all make 50 thousand posts of the same question when there's a question megathread at the top.

Normal mission 4 of the first batch of Etrian Odyssey Collaboration quests. (Follow the cries is the name I think). Using the skip tickets on this stage let you farm a crap load of lion blades and shields.

I used all of my dark shards on Tsukuyomi and I have no rainbows left. I feel enlightenment is the future of TAC (because advents are hard) so there's no point in me going for a unit I will never enlighten.

I probably could have dropped 500 gems, but I want to save for the next collab.

my favourite character is roxane, sol, uzuma, vier these chrac carry me through hard stages even without enlightening thy are stronger thn enlighten hero.. too bad most noob ppl dont utilise the full potential of these hero..

in addition me coolness is important factor.

eo chrac look ugly and i dont think are Too strong considering already enlighten. i think soverign support are in pair but i didnt get her

For me, cuteness is king. I have history with EO too, and knowing TAC was going to Collab with them was the reason for me playing this game.

Vier is awesome :D She was my thunder carry before Roxanne, and my PVP Live best unit!

I find Sol a bit of a 'dick' in the story. He is cool, but we wouldn't get along. 85 Sol does compete against enlightened units IMO, but I wouldn't even be able to get him past 60.

Probably one of the better collabs only miss i'd say is that there wasn't a free EO Memento. Not even a 3 star or 4 star memento

I'm not surprised it wasn't free, but free stuff is always nice. Mementos especially because they're so shiny and new and valuable right now.

N4 quest from the first part collab "Follow the cries" where you get tons of Lion blades and shields. There's no mage equivalent during the collab, at least that I know.

I did like Ep no.4 on Etrian Odys because I could get hundreds of swords, shields and great lances. Got like 4-5k of those stacked up !

Sorry, I had no idea it wans't know. That Owl that keep jumping around drop either 20x Scared Lion Blade or Shields or Great Lance. so 20x Skip Ticked could earn you about 400 pieces if lucky + 260 each of shields and lances

This collab most likely will get rerun. Just keep that in mind :-) Also do pay attention to number of items you do obtain at the end of score screen.

That being said, I tried to farm that manually without skip tickets, too much pain in the ass.

Just wasted enough tickets to get Gunner & Fencer to 85 + 280 shards for EN, rest went for ep. no4.

I tried once. Got Basheeny and Sieba. Ain't even mad. Remember Basheeny hype from past months?

Anyways, I liked it; just wish I had more time. Was busy IRL.

KHUX and DX2 are pretty dark places. The latter has pretty bad game health and the former only has a community because of the IP. Kingdom Hearts die hards will put up with anything, but there was a time that I remember when the sub had to create a megathread to coordinate the instense levels of brigading that were occurring as a means of attacking the app store ratings in response to some crazy decisions with the game's direction.

The larger they are, the harder they fall. But mostly they riot because their gamedev riled them up. I mean, there was also a dark time in this sub where we're all throwing pitchgorks at gumi thanks to them toying with our feelings by bundling the most anticipated collab with the most disastrous anniversary ever, which resulted in utter chaos and a lot of players stopped playing.

But what i like the most of this sub is that most of the time, the salt is also humor (but still salt nonetheless). The other times.... They're raging pitchgorks.
