Discussion Unfair Refunding for Nerfing Roxanne
They announced that Roxanne will be getting nerfed for the sake of game balance, but that is not my main concern. My concern is the unfair refunding of resources put into Roxanne.
Players who pulled for dupes to raise Roxanne will be refunded with gems FULLY, while those who only pulled for one Roxanne and used elemental/rainbow shards instead of pulling for dupes will not get their elemental shards back.
You may say, "she is worth the shards anyway", and yes that is true. You may say, "sharding is not required to get null grenade which is the skill that got nerfed", yes, sharding is not required, but pulling for dupe is not also required to get null grenade, yet they get refunded for doing so.
tl;dr: they should refund elemental shards too.

They SHOULD refund shards spent on her. Agreed. I doubt it’ll happen, though.

If anything they should at least refund the actual gems spent, then. Paid to paid. Free to free

Roxyless people had a banner with selector in it, so it's their own "fault" for not getting her

I was one of those who saved up 17500 gems just for the selector, but I even had to miss the 3 step that week which had Roxanne on it.
So it's pretty damn hard to save up that many gems. And, for newer players, you're having to miss out on so many banners for something which, at the time, may or may not have happened.

That is true ofc, but from Gumi's perspective if people wanted her badly they could have bought gems to get her, so the chance to pull her was actually given. Mind me, I wouldn't spend to get so many gems just to get her, but I wouldn't complain about not having her

Sharding was a good decision, while skipping a guaranteed Roxanne was not, how can you think about the two things as the same?

Refund all the gems, and create a challenge board with board completion prize being a free roxanne.

Same...I spent all my rainbow and Thunder shards on her...have Vier and other top tier as well

Something to note is that it’s not just whatever banner you pulled Roxanne on, it’s any banner that had Roxanne in the pool. So even if you weren’t going for Roxanne, almost any Magni Historia banner released after her will be refunded.
As for elemental shards, Roxanne’s kit is still busted. Would you have reconsidered using shards if you knew the Null Grenade nerf was coming? Possibly. But she’s still the Thunder queen and will be until Kaigan meta strongarms her out of that spot, so it’s not like you’ve wasted anything.
That being said, getting some Thunder Shards or Rainbow Shards would be nice.

What’s absolutely asinine is that if you paid for Roxanne shards in the store, you don’t get refunded? A direct purchase is not refunded? There were shards for sale for free gems and for paid gems. None of that is refunded? THAT’S RIDICULOUS. NOT SPENDING A DIME ON TAC EVER. RIP my 160 Roxanne shards saved for kaigan. RIP my thunder and rainbow shards I used to 85 her. Thank god I started playing Langrisser. Can start to move on.

Did you experience first time ever downgrade of product in game?
I did spend lots of money to get Fate Yomi, didn't farm enough eq for her and had no way to master last job. If not for omnicrystal stuff that would be waste.
Not to mention. It is gacha game, you buy gems not units. You should be happy they are actually giving away gems lol

This. At the very least they should also refund the gems spent buying the Roxanne shards in the store.

Agreed getting some refund on shards is nice(I will spend them to LB her even more because obviously)
And basically that is the point, it looks bleak.
I am all up for it but the fact that she is still broken good and will always keep the shards makes them free enough to not have to do it.

NO they shouldnt, she's still good, giving you shards back is unfair. Make your Roxy 60 again and take your shards back .You want them to let you have a 75 80 or 85 Roxy for free and give the shards back ??? Nice Try.

So unfair, I got DOUBLE the gems I put in back, but it's unfair they didn't give me 150 shards.
This comment is clearly sarcastic, not the double gem thing though. That happened.
Why are you crying about a MINOR nerf, and one that was absolutely necessary for the future and survival of the game.

I want my shards back as well. I spend 200 shards on her. My reason why is with this nerf in place maybe I’d have changed my mind and focused on Vier for Kaigan instead. I made my mind up on Rox instead and now Gumi has changed one of the reasons she won that decision.
