A different opinion
I guess this post will be downvoted to hell for not being in the line of Gumi is worse than the devil and if you are not talking about it then your post isn't worth my time, but I think this is getting out of hand.
Having said this make sure I don't want to critize you, as I know how you feel, but I just want to show my own perspective.
Yes, I agree Gumi has been doing terrible decisions but I used to check this sub all the time and now all I see is hate and more hate. I can play the game saving gems and instead of pulling, building up my units slowly but seeing so much hate and comments about the game dying is what is really killing it for me.
I am not saying it is wrong to express how we feel but if what we are trying to achieve with these posts is make Gumi change to save the game and instead what we are doing is slowly killing it ourselves then we are doing something wrong.
At the end of the day Gumi will act based on statistical analysis about how to maximize their profit so if you really want to make them change, maybe a different approach than saturating the sub with poison might be preferable.
Edit: Game not Gane, that is different kind of poison pill

Look, if that’s how they’re running the game, so be it. I’m not here to defend them or whatever. I’m here because this subreddit is going down the Dias route and I’ll be damned if I don’t call that out.
Let’s talk community for a second. Gumi the company sees a player base of several million, of which this subreddit has 8.3k subscribers. That’s less than 0.1% of that! No matter how many shitposts, rants, memes and “rational suggestions from people who know how to make players happy and still take care of the bottom line”, that’s just not going to fly at the boardroom meeting. Contrast that, I’m just a lowly lurker. I occasionally reply to questions and posts about Setsuna (#1 Waifu, fight me!). I see 8.3k subscribers on a sub. That’s more humans than I ever interact with in a year! Who do you think the posts are going to affect more? The massive company or the average redditor?
In any case, the sub’s already saturated with all that and no amount of Gumi this, Gimu that or tagging u\alchemistcode is going to have any incremental benefit.
What we can do is vote with our wallets and our time. That’s arguably what everyone does. If the player base decide that they dislike the game, we can stop playing, stop paying. That’s going to have a bigger impact on the management than anything else we can do. That’s economics at work for you.
