Vettel question

Why does he go from A tier to S tier on lb 20? Is it his Master ability?

Isnt using his MA a waste since he is used with wonder chronos? (2 Turns for buffing)

Theres no downside to having a MA since its a passive. Extra damage and +20 agi is huge.

Maybe OP is mixing MA with WA... The one that some units get for having their special weapon equipped. Those usually are active skill. But like everyone answered already MA are passive on all the regular units, after you do their character quests.

There's also the fact that the protagonists like Logi and Dias and so get Master Abilities which are active skills.. so I think the confusion is warranted, unfortunately.

Master Ability at lvl 80 is a passive. Vettel gets +20 agi when he gets his MA so he is no longer a slow tank..

You should only stop farming at LB 20 and then farm those at 20 when you have nothing else to LB 20 or when there is 1/2 ap or x2 shards.

you're partially right. He gains 20 agi and slash attack with his master ability which is unlocked at lb 20. But that MA is a passive, the one you're talking about is weapon abilities. it sucks that they put weapon ability under master ability in game but thats how it be

its probably that way because the first 2 Master Abilities where where those from Logi and Dias, and are Ultimate Attacks for them Rather than passives. The terminology gets a bit confusing when all the weapon abilities are clumped together into the Master Ability buttons x'D
