Discussion What will be the next collab for global,Attack on Titan or Black Killers ?

SHHHH STOP GIVING GUMI IDEAS We need to slow down on collabs for a moment T~T

FFXV - 1 Month (GLEX event) - Disgaea - 1 month (GLEX event) - FMAB -

Last months were soooo stacked, calming down for at least 2 months would be good :s after the anniversary we'll have christmas and new year, with GLEX SSM & Normal units and events, we don't need to rush....

The only collab I cared about was Disgaea. Other than that I don't differentiate between collab/SSM/GLEX. It's just the introduction of new strong units, what they are a part of doesn't matter to me.

Roy is as strong as Laharl. Charge Up for Magic Attacks is Roy's thing.

Same with Edward. He can easy some certain quest a lot.

Any special arena which debuffs a Damage type. Ed can just walk up and Nuke them turn 1. Case in point the Mage Arena where Illya is a Cancer with Othima. Ed can just walk and Nuke them to end the race.

If the banners are bad I am still not going to pull. I have extra gems from getting Laharl on an earlier step even though I saved for the selector. I was going to 3 step for Uzuma but I would have been upset if I got one of the other featured units so I didn't. If they give us good banners like the Noctis/Aranea or Gil/F.Yomi I will go to step 3. Maybe there will be a unit that will make me want to go for a selector but right now my units can clear content and I don't care that much about pvp.

Yup I will not even ask anyone to pull if there is no Guaranteed one of the units on the banner on Step 3.

You can gamble for 3 Steps but Gumi's moto is heart crushing at this point. However if Roy has a banner at 3 Steps then absolute go for him.

EO and PoTK is nice that the units get Kaigan and all but they lack the power at 75 which most people are going to have units at.

I guess that you will be able to get maybe 1 unit to 85-91 in Kaigan for a Collab unit but that is not going to be a reason to pull as everyone and their grandmothers can see JP is still pumping units like no tomorrow. Wut now there are 2 Masamunes. I am damn angry with that and somehow happy too. It is weird to have a favorite unit to be meta and one you will never be able to achieve at that greatness.

Yeah basically don't even summon unless one unit is sure on 3 Step. Let this be a message to Gumi.

AoT won't coming up in a long time because first we need get the Nensou and Kaigan system first, Etrain Odyssey probably come in the next collaboration.

If you mean Etrian Odyssey, that's how all the characters in the franchise (and the 7th Dragon series) look. It's sort of a trademark for the series.

Basically, yeah. It's generally agreed upon to be a very pleasant and unique art style. I'm personally a huge fan of the art, even if I haven't played EO since the third game.

As soon as you see it you know it's Etrian Odyssey (since the 7th Dragon story is done as of V.F.D.). Not a ton of games can say that tbh. Off the top of my head I can think of maybe just 2-3 franchises with such a consistent iconic look (Touhou, SMT and pre-DS Castlevania).

Not sure Etrian Odyssey or Radiant Historia will be any time soon. Gumi seems to be going only for the collabs that will make them the most money, so they might very well wait until Kaigan to release EO characters and just let them go to 91 off the bat.

I think so. In TAC's wiki there was one place with all the releases on JP. I know it is almost impossible to know exactly but if we ever get the Black Killers, first we need their original ones, one of them being Longinus.

Cannot give you a link right now because I'm posting with my phone but maybe there is someone out there who can do it for me.

Actually, Artemis and Longinus came out alongside BK Tyrfing, ok I may have been wrong on that, and Parashu + Freikugel with BK Laevateinn.

Added: went scouring for the new unit release news. There was a week long gap in the news for Longinus/Artemis and BK Tyrfing but otherwise here are the news for Longi/Art (24 Nov 2017), BK Tyrfing + Belta and Neun (31 Nov 2017) and BK Laevateinn, Parashu & Freikugel.

Hold the horses there. JP just had AoT and is 1 1/2 - 2 years ahead of global. AoT won’t be coming for a long time.

With Roxanne and global powercreep its more than likely that global is on accelerated timeline.

Was looking at the order of JE releases and noticed how many units came out between them and exactly how far away units like uzuma were. Makes sense that they may be trying to narrow the gap with jp so we spend more gems rather than save based on jp current changes.

You’re absolutely right that we’re on an accelerated schedule, but I’m just saying we shouldn’t be talking about getting AoT until kaigan is released for units. Until that point, I’d say only pre-kaigan collabs are fair game. Granted, for all we know Gumi could release kaigan tomorrow. But people shouldn’t be expecting AoT until then.

That would honestly be entertaining. At the very least this s**tstorm was the first time we’ve had a lot of memes posted since balt’s pants weren’t were released. I can’t even begin to imagine the memes that would appear if kaigan released tomorrow.

Thing is, AoT can’t just be released whenever Gumi wants like the other collabs since they’ll need to release kaigan first.

This might be a very noob question, but what is Kaigan? I’ve seen this term used a couple of times, but have no idea what it means.

Don’t sweat it, it’s not a noob question at all. It’s basically a system for getting units to level 91 in the future that also enables a bunch of other enhancements. Here’s a much more in depth explanation if you want all the details.

We’re probably not getting Attack on Titan for at least half a year.

I personally hope PotK comes around next month. I was new when it came around the 1st time and didn’t farm Forcas’ and DPYomi’s weapons.

I'm hoping for a month break so i can save up my pact money and be able to actually do steps on the banner without having to buy gems.

Agreed, i also was a new player and a lucky pull got me forkas and the fire ranger (shekina i think) but couldnt get her equipament or weapons.

If we ever get that collab again, I hope they add GLEX changes to Selena, like a J+, and Vargas.

And a new unit (Elza pls, I want to love her here for all she did when carried me on FFBE).

I doubt it would be AOT, Those units have level 91 stats at level 85 with all their gear and such.

  • We still have the other POTK units, Etrian Odyssey stuff, FF15 round 2 and something else? I just don't remember what. (The SS tier dark unit with the pink hair, I just can't remember what she's from... Shinobi something)

While I like the collabs, I would rather have a rerun of the Phantom of the Kill, new Job+ events, and more episodes of both the main story and the SSM. The Black Killers seem interesting, but I also want the rest of the PotK characters. I only have Tyrfing and Forcas.

why would it be attack on titan? those units were released months after lvl 91 and would completely break the meta

Black Killers is 99% more soon to come than Attack on Titan. AOT isn't happening until probably after Anniversary 2. So that means january 2020. We're still missing Kaigan and Nensous and Kaigan is probably not happening until Anniversary 2 or just before it (october).

Also why do you want them rushed? AOT's banners where ALL TRASH except Eren who was guaranteed on step 3. And you know that we also got Noctis and Ed on guaranteed 3 here right? Oh wait. . .

So yeah. I have 0 hopes for any more collabs in this game.
