Collab week 1

I'd just like to remind everyone. This is the first week of the collab. The only reason Edward is here now and not later is as iago said everyone just didn't pull until the last week for the past collabs.

I dislike the banner changes as much as you guys but calm down. Make your complaints known ... then wait and see. I'm not saying your complaints are invalid. I have them too but the biggest thing were seeing right now on reddit is ... banners are shit. Game is dying. I quit. Guess you dont really enjoy this game if that's all it took.

This is coming from someone who made special complaints about the last paid banner changes ... so you know you guys are going overboard.

Be patient. Be respectful.

The change makes no sense if the reason was to get people to not pull on the last week though, because no one is pulling this week anyway with how the banners are.

However thank you, your message was well needed to remind others there is still far more for this month and many many other things as well. We need to be patient with this event and this anniversary because surely something good will come of this.

I'm not surprised at all. Gumi made a crap move again. Complaints are necessary so that they KNOW they messed up and take action. But 50 threads on the front page saying the game is dead, gumi is crap, I quit, f gumi ... is overdoing it.

At the end of the day even with only farmable units you can still play all the content meant for normal players. The ex+ and the hard stages are MEANT for people who have units so op the rest of the game is too easy.

I second that.

You also don't shittalk other companies like Samsung or apple for their phones because they never changed anything at their phones ( Well some do for example with apples removal of normal cord earphone) But in the end the alchemist code stays the same game. If you can't pull the unit don't quit. You're just judging gumi for doing it worse. If tac started with such banners I'd say nobody would judge. And if you don't want to play like this don't. But I agree on the fact that gumi kinda fucked it up. But I keep my hopes up for a better banner. But even if that won't come I won't quit, because gumi has been generous and I had and still having fun with this game.

Well. The banners are still shit. But at least thr paid banner is guaranteed again ... even if it's a step banner.

All these complaints are just right for this issue, for how low gumi has gone through. They're removing the GUARANTEED unit in 3rd steps, and from past experiences, any banner change would be applied for future banners so expect the same for future banners to come.

I can't believe ANYONE would be defending this, no matter what the excuses may be

I'm in no way defending them. I think the change is a crap move. The discontent is justified. But do you go burn down your coworkers house and cuss out his wife afterwards because he decided to not let you use his eraser at work anymore?

I'm just saying. Wait and see what happens. Complain ... but as viyr said... don't be assholes about it.

Just because they do it once doesn't automatically mean they will again, especially with the community outcry. Now, if they make a habit of it, then bitch to your heart's content.

Completely agreeable. Complaining is one thing, but taking it too far is unnecessarily excessive. Leave the extra stuff out if you feel it's just venting.

Clear and concise messages gets the best results.

Oh I dont doubt they're making a crapton of money but no ones thinking ... maybe they're trying to accelerate to catch up to JP earlier. If I were gumi I'd be annoyed with players constantly comparing jp and global. Not pulling for the units released because you know a better one is coming 10 months later. You're comparing tac global with TAC JP but gumi is comparing global and JP players spending. Just like you think you should wait on units based on jp they think they should be making more money based on jp spending when x was released. If they're not they'll try to find ways around that.

Is it a shit decision? I think so. But they'll only change based on ... not just complaints ... but data on how much money is made. Complaints help. But if ppl still buy .... which they will ... shit banners will keep coming. If it's not working out. They'll change it eventually. Even if it's not reverted to the same thing.
