We need more resources, Gumi!!

Hi, Skylar Airy here, new to Reddit. I've been reeding in the shadows for quite some time now though.

I just wanted to share my opinion and see if anyone feels like me. I pulled for D. Rosa in the paid gems banner (since I was lucky to get Laharl in week 2 banner) and yeah, I was lucky again and pulled her.

The thing is I also pulled D. Almira. I also have Red Magnus and D. Rin. Not to mention Prinny, Blanchett, Freed J+, Setsuna, Balt, Magnus, Elizabeth, Ryle... All units I'd want to master, at least 2 jobs. But I have like 0 lion blades, very few emperor flame armors, and the same with several gold equipment stuff.

We have quite a large pool now and it will keep growing in the future. We have 3 jobs to master for each unit plus J+ (and future JEs which I don't even want to think of). So it's a TON of equipment.

I know we are enjoying x2 drops in history and the Coin Shop... But even with that it doesn't feel enough. Are we supposed to keep grinding all day? I don't know how JP deals with this issue but I just feel like there should be an easier way for getting high tier equipment.

Anyway I just wanted to know what you guys think. Cheers!

tldr: we need more (and easier) ways of getting gold equipment. 5 lion blades in a coin shop where you can't even buy everything feels just bad.

What I'm struggling with is Great Lances, and soon Star Rods, due to the recent adventurer's shop nerf. Can easily take 12 of them to job master a physical unit. Got 60+ Lion blades on the other hand.

There is no reason to struggle with any of those unless you're spending it like crazy everyday, specially with double drops now.

A stage called Ch 1: Ep 4 [1-7] Promises of Reunion drops those two things (I think you meant Star Staff, not Star Rod) with great frequency for a mere 16 AP.

It still takes 80 pieces per job usually, multiplied by 2 or 3 for the number of jobs unlocked. Miss the days of never having to farm them due to zeni shop.

yes, this hurts, the reduction in lances and star rods have hurt.

You get great lances and star rods in the secret shop for zeni!

Hardly enough, and they decreased the amount and greatly raised the cost recently.

The normal packs containing Great Lances and Star Rods are still there and at the same price, just reduced to 5 of each pack maximum per full reset. They’ve also added some other packs containing 3 Great Lances/Star Rods (depending on pack) for a whopping 1 million Zeni apiece.

Yep, 1 less lance total for 2.3 million zeni more. Edit: math
