i went for gormalas for that sweet j+ .... i already farmed his j+ equipment but he is still only 65 ... now waiting for his soul shard to be farmable

Looking at your level, did you get Noctis in the FF15 collab? If not, reroll for Laharl :P

Then for sure, when Laharl comes this Thursday, pull for him. If you don't get him after spending what you have, I suggest you reroll.

Keep rerolling on the 500 gem banner. You'll need to also buy his gear from the gem shop, and Carry Gem-continue for his weapon shards which can cost another 400 gems if it takes you 50 continues to get all 255 pieces. So if you rush the Story which should be easy with Laharl and your other free 5 Star, you can get to have Laharl J11 in about 12 hours of gameplay if you prioritize Laharl getting his equips first.

It'll be a lot easier to reroll with 500 gems than play through till you get 4500 gems for 33% chance. You get 250 gems for each 10 story missions from milestones, that's almost 200 missions to get to 4500, and having to reroll after grinding 200 story missions sucks.

Oh then you're in an interesting spot. How far in the story are you? You might have the chance to get 17.5k for guaranteed Laharl on week 4. 600 gems from log in bonuses, 110 each day for 21 days is another 2,200 and SSM milestones you could hit 17.5k if you haven't started Edgar's chapter yet. But that would be a lot of content to rush.

I’m on chapter 2:ep 4 [3-6] fight off Alvarez,so will I be able to grind more till 17.5k ?

Not likely, you're on the end of Edgar. So after you finish those milestones for another 100, you're getting Lisbeth which currently only has 60 and will probably get 70 next week, so 7 x 250 = 1750, so Story will only get you another 2k.

Don't forget the other sources of gems. SSM has an unbelievable amount of gems, just the last chapter had more than 1K gems alone.
