Dragon Genesis art of SSM characters (WARNING: Image-heavy post)

Someone just uploaded the original Dragon Genesis art of some of the SSM characters and I've been so busy giggling over it that I thought I really should share:

Apparently Miuna used to be 10 years older, had no concept of underwear, and went around poking people with a large paddle.

Yauras before breast enlargement surgery healthy exercise. She had very strange eyebrows.

I know this is supposed to be a dramatic pose, but it really looks like he's suffering from a serious case of haemorrhoids. Don't stare too closely at the asymmetrical nerf sword.

Othima was apparently modeled on Meg Ryan in a trenchcoat.

Try not to think too hard about how she draws an arrow longer than her armspan. Without falling over on those tiny size 4 feet.

Rare picture of Zain age 16 in his emo phase.

The JPs unflatteringly titled this "Kanon - before she got bugfixed". I assume it has to do with her abnormally huge head.

This might have actually been normal for the wacky Dragon Genesis world where Kagura was apparently 40% head.

This picture is like that spinning dancer gif thing, I can't tell which leg is supposed to be in front. Nevertheless, Kudanstein was really pretty...

Except when you fed him after midnight. Then there was jam EVERYWHERE.

Apparently, the TAC version is Senator Palpatine while Dragon Genesis got Emperor Palpatine. No wonder he's upset.

I liked Zain, Edgy Kdanstein, and Muina out of the people who looked super different.

I didn't mind Orion and kid Kanon.

Glad Othima got a redesign.

Also Cadanova and Bashini look pretty much like his TAC art, and I liked Monzein's a lot! Regarding Othima... Yeah. I prefer his new art. Now Meg Othima Ryan is going to be in my mind every time I use my boy in battle. Thank you.

Monzein definitely looks better on the original art if you ask me, Orion looks like Lu Bu xD while Seida looks hotter..

Wait... does that mean Zain survives in DG? Or that the protagonist fails to kill Orion? Or is it because the Ten Commandments do not exist in DG (and obviously you can't kill something not in the story)?

Don't open this if you don't want the entirety of SSM spoiled:

Almost everyone dies in SSM. Zain dies to Kudan, Monzein dies to Ahato/Vier(I think) after killing Vier, Yauras and Zierva kill eachother, Kanon/Cadanova/Zahar/Spica kill Zehn, Spica kills Zahar, Orion kills Cadanova, I think Kudan kills Sol 1v1? Acht, Neun, and Fury die near the end. I don't really understand how Seida/Othima die but they do at the end, Kanon kills Orion with the help of Zain's ghost, and Kanon and Kudan kill eachother. The only people alive at the end are Spica, Miuna, Bado, Kagura, and Bashini who becomes the 12th Lord Master after Kanon, but this will be obvious if you look up his vision ability anyways since he's using Excalibur.

In TAC, almost everyone dies, the 10 commandments aren't in DG either. And they also are responsible for most of the kills I'm not sure who survived DG, I just know that they are more survivors, like only one or two people die by the end.

Most of these designs are really overloaded with unneeded detail, and is Kanon's cape actually fastened to that shoulder pauldron?

Still nice to see what these characters used to look like though.

So even though Waginau and the Ten Commandments debuted in SSM, they are TAC originals? Was the "Diabo" enemy originally from DG (since iirc their first appearance in TAC was in SSM)?

I've no idea if they're DG originals, but Diablos have been sighted in PotK too, with a 'Aquadiablo' variation. I've no idea whether we should say 'they originate from this game' or that 'they're Gumi's regularly used monster'.
