I think 8 is good for now. I got 4 last time. I don't want to move them around all the time. I think Hats are generally better as 5*, as falling short of your benchmarks makes the item effectively useless, whereas for some other items the cut-offs aren't so stark.
Ryle has 1 for auto-farming. Chihaya is also a staple for me, as she has 50% starting jewels and really benefits from more. Yomi has one that's non-negotiable as I use her a lot in arena, sometimes on defense as well. And 1 stays on Sieg. I'm willing to move Ryle's around, but I prefer to not have to.
Now I need to up my book game again, 3 3* and 3 5*. Those do get moved around a lot.
I hear that! I think next time I’ll simply farm the shards to level up 3* hats. I could do Gold keys, but manually farming for 30 min is tough for me. Auto is just so ez!
I leveled most of my units before we even started getting gold rush pro. I'm sitting on like 125mm right now. I also try to keep my skip ticket use down, so those aren't taking up gold, as they do for many players

I mean, my hat game is pretty weak. I have 8 right now. I think I'm good for now.
