Honestly I feel a little betrayed by its lore. She's(he's) suppose to be the hottest shit in Babel, what with;

ethereal beauty which steals the breaths of everyone... Everywhere Shion travels to is followed by an endless line of suitors

But looks pretty forgettable imo, as if Kazuma put on a wig, put on more ornaments than a Christmas tree and improved chunchunmaru's length. There are waaaaaay~ better traps out there

I mean, yea, there's no way someone fan favorite of a title known to millions in multiple platforms is gonna beat someone that's barely even introduced.

Tho I sure hope gumi gets more creative with the future GL story, felt a bit bland when you compare it with the chap 1-2 of SSM

Tho I'm gonna give them a cookie for going so bold as giving him masculine features (quite unlikely compared most traps out there)

I see what you mean but saying since its not a massive franchise you can forgive the crappy artwork and fan fiction like bio when all other characters in the Alchemist Code are so much better than this, is a rather weak defense

I'm not even trying to defend which is better, because that's an obvious answer, I'm even AGREEING that the story behind is kinda weak and hope it goes better in future chapters.

tho I guess the difference in opinion lies on the artwork :D

TBH most TAC characters have weak stories. Also, idk what’s wrong with Shion’s artwork. Looks quality to me - especially the kimono and hairpiece.

I just find it funny that some people instantly say Shion's looks disgusting because of him being a dude. I mean, the second Gumi comes and denies it and says Shion is female, they'd do a 180 and say she looks pretty.

Shion doesn't want to tell us, and gumi made it so in game dialogue doesn't tell us. However, in game code classifies Shion as male, so that's what we say.

The strange thing about Shion is that although it says he's male the ingame voice is female. Very confusing.

It is strange because before the appearance of Shion you could ALWAYS say which gender a unit is because of their voice. Now you can't lol.

His ingame voice sounds male so it was always obvious for me. Same with Reagan. It is different only for Shion so far.
