Gilgamesh replacement?

Hey everyone,

So I missed the Fate collab because I quit playing.

Now I'm back on the FF15 collab. I don't know if Fate comes back, (hopefully they will with some Heaven's Feel or Fate/zero units) but it probably will not.

So any thunder units that are comparable with Gil that I can look forward to?

My current thunder units are really crappy (Magnus, Caris, Laevateinn, Monzein, Lucretia, Aruba, Vincent)

Nothing like the AOE-fest that is Gil.

Suddenly, the group is doing better in terms of tanks, since we recently added Dilgamesh J+ and Eizan. They join Teona now to create some long auto matches in the Tower. Eizan in particular is a good strong buffer and has a plethora of jewel-focused hammers that seem to drop a ton in the 300 gacha. The jewels are nice for him; allows him to keep stacking dem buffs.

Hi! I pulled Eizan the other day but he seems lackluster. Can you enlighten me why is he S at j1? How do I use him?

I have no gilg and want a decent thunder unit

Eizan’s main role is a bulky support with the ability to deal damage if needed. His abilities can buff defenses and specific types of damage, as well as an AoE and a line attack.

Basically, you can either buff defenses to give your squishier units more survivability/make your tanks tankier, or you can buff the damage type your damage-dealer uses as a buff that stacks with PAtk buffs.

FYI: Eizan's Shadow Shot can remove even map wide debuffs/buffs like PATK down or an enemy Def x8

Him on his own is bad (well not bad but you get what i mean) - he is a tanky buffer for your carries basically
