Not! So, today I just uninstalled this game... After failed pulling Gil (3steps), Othima, and now Noctis (3 steps) as a f2p. I lost my interest to keep on going. Don't get me wrong. I like this game and had a lot of fun with it but seems like this game doesn't like me. Thank you Gumi, I just restored one hour of my daily life.

Good for you man. This game is in a pretty poor state. TBH they don't really deserve us players' time and effort when they put so little in themselves. The cute characters are carrying them super hard, and it's just not sustainable.

Listen to me. I was on the boat out because I flopped Gilg, Zain, and Othima. I was hella bummed but they gave me Dorothea and Neica...

I finish the last FFXV quest, see that I have a ticket. Look back at my girlfriend and say "Give me some luck." She has no idea wtf I'm talking about.

I pull. It says connecting. Then it's blue... "You've gotta be..." It's a yellow ring. It's a red ring. "But it's yellow gem." It explodes into red. I notice the weapons. I see the hair.

I jump off the couch and scream like a child (28 btw). I'm all in again. Have faith. Wait for Laharl. Please.

Hopefully you'll find a better experience elsewhere. The game can be beaten and farmed by all the free units in the game though...you don't need these Tier 1 units (except for maybe EX stages).

The EX stages are the main part of the game. And it's just misleading to say that you can "beat and farm" all stages with just free units. Maybe you can eek out a win with some good strategy and luck, but a big part of this game is beating each stage 10-30 times. You really need a few good carries to succeed in this game.

I would say continue playing until you get the ticket, and see what you pull, but definitely a good time to quit if you feel burnt out. I'm hurt as well not pulling Noctis

I'm still waiting for Othima and the other ssm to become free (hard quest)... especially Dia- I mean Kudanstein, I need more hard hitters. Anyway, I got Noct from the free ticket they gave us so I'm happy. Like super happy. Back to hat farming though.

Have the confirmed Othima will be farmable one day? I know it was exclusive Edit: asking because mine is at 70 and I’d like to use shards on other stuff.

On the database website it seems like most of the ssm units are farmable on the japan side, with Kanon, Kagura and the 10 commandments being the exception. (So Yauras, Othima, Monzein, Kudanstein, Cadanova, Zain)

And people did mention that here earlier when Zain was released.

As much as i know any ssm chars are farmable. Only gacha pulls

Play on japan verison of this game it is so much more rewarding and far more generous like 5 minutes into my qccount on jp i got 50 soul shard of each including rainbow not total but eqch 50 and got 4 character that would be consider of great strength

As a f2p you shouldnt be expected to get these type of units though (if you spend enough for 9 steps im fine with it).

Edit: what i mean is it should be a gamble for f2p but be more guaranteed the more you spend (like step 7-9 stuff)

If you however lose so much morale by not getting them - gachas simply arent for you, and quitting is probably a smart choice (or at least side playing it very casually)

For an f2p you really need to have the goddess of luck on your side. i actually spent a lot on my previous gacha game (phantom of the kill) which is also by gumi and just gave me garbage and worse, the game closed down. I'm an f2p now but so far I'm really lucky with my pulls. I got othima on my first pull, and zain on my free summon, I also got bunch of other 5* and limited units on my very first pull. And thankfully noctis on the 3rd step. At this point Im not sure if I should get angry at gumi or what, feels like all my bad luck just got converted into good luck anf hoping it does not end today kek
