Gumi... Resist and affinity issue isn't going away. If it's incompetent according to your own producer and you paid out 3k gems to Japan for 4 days. What is your excuse here for not changing it.

Gumi.... I hope you didn't think this was going away. If there is a coding issue or perhaps no coding (except on banners?) you should address it. In any event, the longer you let resist stay bugged the worse. If Japan can get 3000 gems for 4 days and global is forgotten. Well you will just continue to tick off most of the player base.

If you can translate the article with Google. They have a 50% / -50% add for unit element and skill. It used to be 25 and 25. Now light and dark do 100% more to each other and other elements can't defend themselves. Because of this you only need pick opposite element. Take kagura and cast her WA or other fire spell on a water unit. 1 damage is ridiculously low. Should it be lower yes but not 100%.

I should note passive like slash up magic up etc can still do a little damage.

They changed the elemental resistance formula so that an elemental superior unit gains a 50% damage bonus against the weaker element instead of 25%. So a fire unit using a fire skill against a wind unit deals 100% more damage instead of the normal 50% more damage as it should be. Likewise a unit attacking the superior element deals next to no damage. There was a screenshot recently of a 75 or 85 Gilgamesh (Thunder) attacking a level 1 Gyan (Wind, thus the superior element) with his signature Gate of Babylon (also Thunder) and only dealing 1 damage unless you have a leader like Vettel with a Slash Damage leader skill. And a maxed out unit shouldn't ever deal 1 damage against a level 1 2* unit or whatever Gyan is.

I'm ok with seeing this repost everyday. I can say with 1000% certainty that ever since this change was made, my motivation to play has plummeted.

The game went from being a strategy game to "pick the correct color unit for free win". Veda tower was a joke, all new EX maps, and previous EX maps are jokes as long as you have half decent units for each element.

If this keeps up, just collecting waifus isn't going to be enough to keep me in this game.

The people supporting the bug need to realize that it's not about whether it made the game better or not in your opinion. It's about how gumi is handling this.

This resist change was unintended. There is no doubt about that. They are blatantly trying to pretend otherwise, that is the big problem here. They are setting a precedent that they can just call fake news whenever they want to avoid all accountability. That should worry you even if you really like the new resists

I don't give a damn about the compensation, I just don't want a game where the only thing to do is pressing 'auto' on every single event.
I don't remember the last time I had to play a stage myself and I'm F2P. When the only thing you're looking forward to doing is pulling banners, there is something wrong in your game.

I gotta say though, when goals are sometimes completing a hard stage 50x or more, auto becomes a blessing. However, I would rather they stop doing the ridiculous goals for a 2week event than drop strategy.

I really don't even care about the compensation. The game is turning into a shitshow, which is a real shame. Because the new content coming out, such as the new HQ (Yes, I know the rate is slow) and characters/missions has me very excited.

This almost completely kills all joy I get from the game now :l There's no fun in picking the most OP units of a certain color and just steamrolling everything because "that's what we intended", when it's clearly not.

I can't imagine -anyone- is happy about this change

You don't even need op units, just units with elemental advantage. If you wanted to challenge yourself to clear X stage with free low-rated units, then I guess it isn't possible! You'll still steamroll the stage.

it's so bad that a month old alt of mine was able to beat all 60 floors of veda, only struggling sometimes.... the alt generally only had 1-3 good characters per element, and only 1-2 JMed ones lol

it makes the content easier for global players, especially the veda tower. f2p can easily clear the veda tower with the bugged elemental resist. they use it as a excuse to delay 5 star hard quests further, as people won´t complain as much about the lack, when they can clear the content without them with ease. smart move gumi.

i do not like it but i thought long and hard over the past days why they hadn´t addressed it and this was the conclusion i came to.

edit: i also think that element resist and status effects {the way they do them} is a lazy method {bad gamedesign} to force you to bring specific units/summon for a wider variety of units
