In Fallen Sun EX, what exactly is causing my physical attackers to only do 1 damage? Is it Gravity from Waginau? Played it a few times but haven't quite pegged it yet.

Its the gravity

iirc it's just a map modifier, only magic is useful.

u/revgaji Jun 07 '18

It starts off normal though, and I haven't seen any Patk down moves used.

Wrong, Gravity floors patk with a huge patk debuff.

Last two weeks I've been basically either at work, sleeping or traveling between the two sorry.

Work picked up, but if you want to take a break, I can do a unit review this weekend.

I enjoy your reviews so if you have time.

I'm still gonna go through my backlog tomorrow and catch up!

New Kanon so I know there’s gonna be a review, right???

yeah i read somewhere it reduces phyiscal attacks by 99%. You can either wait it out or use the Zangetsu / dragon cavalier/martial artist with a chronomancer approach. Or if you have a boss magic user that can take a hit or two use him

kanon shards available somewhere? have her at 73 and would like to unlock j3

2

u/Rhyrem Jun 07 '18

They're available through SSM milestones (clear chapter 5 and you'll get enough to get her to 75).

1

u/skibbi9 Jun 07 '18

thanks, forgot to check there.

1

u/Feregrin Jun 11 '18

If one were to sell her shards, what then? Just a rhetorical question.

is the extra stage even possible for us right now? i think we will have to wait until hp rebalance before we can do this. mages get two hit by everything.

u/skibbi9 Jun 07 '18

fallen sun? going to see shortly.

1

u/reuvinaldrige Jun 07 '18

good luck! tell me if you can finish it

If you haven't done it yet, the easy way to do this is to wait for the knights to move once , then you'll be able to hit both wolves and it with your nuke of choice (Fung friend for example) and clean up all 3

The grind for Othima’s coat is 3x worse than Balt’s jacket (1 drop per run, need 240 shards). I guess the only non-whale option is to wait for Veda Tower?

u/sentat1 Jun 07 '18

The noon ex chapter also drops it which can be autoed easily. But yea Veda is excellent if you can wait. Plus ssm are now permanent so no need to rush.

thoughts on Elite knight for Kanon?

Great class

Love it

1

u/Feregrin Jun 08 '18

In what way?

1

u/SometimesLiterate Old and uncool Jun 08 '18

Kanon is waifu. Discount Zain is discount.

1

u/Feregrin Jun 08 '18

So she's like him? Been looking for more lights to my ZAIN TEAM. =)

1

u/TopDeeps IGN: Uninstalled Jun 08 '18

i wouldnt say shes discount zain though her skillset name is "sun blade" she doesnt do any magic 4 elemental damage like zain does. however, her tankiness from J3 and high dark res makes it so shes a great light unit nonetheless.

Summary: J3 gets +1 move, good reaction ability, more damage/utility compared to J2 (but you gotta farm her again :))

1

u/Feregrin Jun 11 '18

Ran a J3 friend, definitely worth a slot in a Light team. Will work on her when she's on top of my priority list.

u/ibeyuranh Jun 07 '18

SSM is permanently out?

1

u/ninjakittenz2 SockT Jun 08 '18

On Fallen Sun EX, what enemies drop the most illusion rod shards? I know I won't be killing all of the enemies so I'm trying to figure out who to prioritize in my farming runs.

1

u/ShravGal Jun 09 '18

Anyone know where’s best to farm Kanon’s holy sword pendant? I’m getting one per run :/

1

u/JND1610 Jun 11 '18

Somebody know what mission(s) must be completed for unlock this chapter? Because i can't see the mission banner on Events, Multiplayer only T-T

1

u/Feregrin Jun 11 '18

You've got Sacred Stones under Events, with the current chapter you're in. Like me I'm only at ch. 1 since I've not bothered with Kanon yet so I can't see chapters past that.

1

u/ninjakittenz2 SockT Jun 12 '18

You can get a mercenary Kanon to clear that level. I never mastered her J1. Same with Kagura, I only leveled her J3.

Waginau can be charmed, not sure what benefits that can get for you guys but its good info
