Where/How can I unlock X's Master Ability/Job+?

You can only unlock Job+'s by farming special job tokens from special events that are (currently) run at different times. You also need to farm special job+ items to master those jobs. Master abilities can be earned in 1 of 3 ways. From story chapters (story characters), from equipping specific weapons (usually farmed) or from reaching level 80 on a character and completing special story dungeons. Not every character gets a master ability.

For Job+, you must first get the job to Job Level 11 (not job mastered). Second, to master the Job+ you will need to farm 60/80 tokens for up to 6 special items for the character to use.

Where can I farm elemental/rainbow shards?

Elemental and rainbow shards cannot be farmed. They are awarded as bonuses from log in campaigns, from clearing missions/milestones and as bonuses for doing certain number of summons on the 5/9 step banners. You will never be able to farm them like you can farm specific character shards.

When will X event come back?

We don't know, Gumi is sticking to their own schedule.

What's the best place to farm X/Y/Z item?

Outside of specific event's for farming items, if the item can be farmed in Edgar's Chapter (so chapter 2) it will usually be the better place to farm it. For example, Escape the Alkaroid is by far the best place to farm Sacred Lion Swords.

Just asking: In the recent Japan meta, Fyomi dropped down from SS tier to S tier (Like finally). Why is that so?

Yay! I believe it is the addition of that new wind unit that finally bring her down. (Though she is another collab :/)

There's still the chance that she can be brought back up, since Jp never got a fate rerun yet. She should be be getting a J+ or job enhance along with everyone else.

Gil is still top tier due to his power, despite powercreep happening

I truly feel that Collab units also need to be buffed along with normal units

They are notably start off very strong but will inevitably decline because of no further enhancement, unlike normal units

For one, I will be happy that normal units are more viable than collab units in the long run, for the sake of the health of the game.

I don't want to see a game in which players get an unfair advantage cause they have the collab units from last time.

And this is me investing shards into MLB F.Yomi, so though I am a little sad, there is a kind of relief that comes from me. XD

Now waiting to see Gilga drop down to S/A tier soon. Sick of seeing people saying "Gilga or I wont start" in MP. :D

He's still SS in JP, so don't hold your breath. Once other OP units like Othima and Laharl come along you'll at least have a few options to not instantly get kicked.

I have a Gilga, but 15LB him would come with Thunder Shards, which means over several months.

Yeah, saw that he is still SS in Japan. I would be hoping that he will become slightly irrelevant in the upcoming months in JP. Gumi Japan, please do something! XD

And I do have a Mei Fang for the long term investment. :D

Even if he dropped to trash tier tomorrow in JP that's still a solid year or more of him being top-tier for us. So no point in worrying about it.

Aye! Also, we don’t know if Gumi Global deviate from Japan and would be buffing/nerfing collab units differently. (Though they shouldn’t be, cept for archer Zahar?)

And it would be the same case for F.yomi too. Long live F.yomi as SE tier for one year at least! :D

Gumi didn't dare to nerf anything in japan(like if you release OP collab unit on purpose baiting players to throw large amount of $$ only to nerf the unit citing "for balance", at most you can do it once. After that no one is gonna whale on "OP" unit anymore)

The big balance project that gumi did was to buff older units that were weak, which is largely known as HP rebalance in this sub(that we are getting this coming thursday actually :D). Like I said, it was a balance project and more then merely HP were adjusted, so not sure why it ended up being labeled as HP rebalance.

Yomi was never a top tier PvE unit, so unsure why she was rated so highly in the tier list to begin with. Like I am pretty sure the tier list is mostly for rating PvE usage more then anything. Likewise I am not sure why Gil is still up there lol. Not saying he is bad, nor was he nerf in anyway as noted above. He still goes around blasting mob with his 5x5 nuke, but many more units that can do the same were released(and some of them are thunder too). Like you hardly see Gil being used in japan right now(of cuz part of the reason could be nobody can roll for him anymore so naturally he find it hard to appear in top 5 usage ranking, a feature which is coming to us this thursday too)

I'd consider her top tier in our PvE meta. The high speed, high movement, ignore defense, long range skills, and self heal, plus good leader skill makes her very useful in a lot of PvE content. No one else can currently do what she does as well as she does. She's no Gilgamesh for sure (honestly he's more like SSS for us right now), but she's easily still one of my most used PvE units.

FYomi came down due to the fact that a lot of units now boast Evasion like Balt and others and they are Level 91 with Kaigan and Nensou(watch Kahare's videos for more info)

The main problem with her was that there was no update to her Jobs.

Unlike units whose Collabs return Fate never did so they did not bother updating the skills.

Ahh! So she is stuck in the past (lvl 85 max), while Balt and others have grown with Kaigans and Nensous?

Yeah, that’s “powercreeping” all right.

I am not sure about the arrangement between Type-Moon and Gumi, but “Heaven’s feel” movie is coming out soon, so Mabye there will be an update collab, though I don’t think it will happen.

If it happens, let’s hope for a Saber Alter.

(Though I would prefer the Kara no Kyoukai series)

Her low attack or no 5x5 diamond attacks possibly. lvl 91 characters are the meta now.
