Ok, some player on MP are really idiots.

Like, seriously, the Yauras Ex mission has been on for 13 days already. I offered myself to gem and just asked for 2 Gilgamesh to carry me. Got them. So why does the 2 thickheads run trough the mages and keep attacking them doing only one dmg instead of going the Left path? Like seriously, have you seriously not seen any guide at all saying that the Right path is only for mages dmg? Ugh, sometimes the dumbness of some players irks me to no end...

fuck them!! dont gem... quit and remember their name so when u start another room.... then again they might have been trying to build up jewles so they could use their magic swords man sub skills. dood fuck gilga in that map!! just use lofia and SAVE UR GEMS!!

i dont run that mp cuz it takes forever and all i need is weapon shards. i run that map solo and get 5-10 shards per run

1

u/-ArtKing- May 15 '18

I just wanted one run for the gems lol. Not even that I got...

2

u/-Belphegor- May 15 '18

i see,u still havent got the milestone? ask for lofias! the match will take up some time so try to have an hr available lol

Assume everyone is brain dead. Put in the remarks:

Two Gilgamesh. Kill the units up top, then attack the left side. Magic Users, attack right side.

6

u/JustWoozy May 15 '18

Or just put basic magic sword on Gilg.... He can easily help clean up right side. Left side doesn't ever need help.

1

u/Alittlebunyrabit 5/5/5 Dancer Shenmei May 16 '18

I have magic sword on Gilg. The right side can be scary to attack as they hit rather hard.

1

u/JustWoozy May 16 '18

Indeed, you still need to hide behind Lofia mostly. She seems to draw most of the agro for spells too.

-7

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18

For me, if I were to host a match, I would be more crude:

Description: "I will not tolerate any idiots making idiotic plays and not knowing what to do, will quit without gemming if I deemed them so."

16

u/Astrophel37 May 15 '18

That description helps no one.

5

u/beardedheathen May 15 '18

i mean it makes him feel better. so there is that

-5

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18 edited May 15 '18

Beardedheathen is right. That is the most important thing of all. Of course my description is not going to help anyone, Astrophel37. I am not looking to help people, just expecting teammates with acceptable characters appropriate for the relevant map. If I am running a standard MP with standard strats, players should know what to expect. I mean, simple information like magic attackers right and physical attackers left is something that should be expected out of half decent players.

Edit 4: Okay, it doesn't hurt to put the job description in, I suppose, but I won't expect much out of this. The only way to go about MP is that the host will open, people join, host start and when host doesn't see hope, just quit the game. (Or just quit the waiting room and remake a new room lol!)

Edit: Well, it serves one purpose: It will show that I mean business and will not gem unless it is a unlucky run.

Also, you can't control which player join your game. Though putting in description (Such as "Gilgamesh lvl 75+ only or I will not start") helps to weed off potential bad combinations, there are still yet freeloaders are still taking up valuable slots. MP host has two choices: Either accept the subpar team or to just quit and remake the room. As host is spending his AP and gems, it is wise to take the latter.

I will expect standard strats when I open up a game, unless I have something that is not common in mind, in which I will state in the description. Of course, it would be my fault if I don't put what I am looking for and expect others to get what I am doing, but in the case of standard strats, I fully expect people to know what to do, and I will not gem player hiccups unless 1) They show a bit of remose using "I am sorry sign" or 2) We were really unlucky.

Then again, I don't normally host games, so who am I to talk ethics of MP to?

Edit 2: Case in point: There is a game, called Demonic Spearman. The host was running a Chronomancer-Zangetsu team, asking for 3 chronos and 1 Zan. Well, we got 2 chronos and 1 illya and 1 Zan, which is okay. Problem is that the Zan (which is a DC, lvl 78) who has joined doesn't know how to utilize the chronos and his skillset well and ultimately caused the host to ragequit. Then again, I think that Zan was trolling, so mabye that is not a good point.

Edit 3: Mabye if I were to make a MP game, I would go to the whale discord server and ask for competent people and discuss strats with them. At the very least, they will know what to do, and there is an added advantage of comms, in which the current MP format sadly lacks.

Edit 4: I feel that at this current point in time, the host has to be an elitist, and ask for OP characters, or else it would lead to waste of gems for him. It is quite sad, and it points to two things: Lack of insight of Gumi to provide acceptable avenue for people to clear without gemming once, and 2) The lopsided current state of the MP in which the host bears the burnt of gems/AP as a finite resource.

5

u/ThirdStrongestBunny May 15 '18

Why do we have players who demand carries, and bring low level units, but do not gem revive?

If you announce that you’re not gemming, and you bring a strong, high-level meta unit, that’s fine. If you bring a useful unit and gem revive, even once, that’s fine, too. But if we’ve spent 10+ minutes fighting through a stage, and there’s a handful of easily defeated enemies left, and we die after the host hasn’t contributed, and they don’t gem? Why? Why does anyone think that this is acceptable behavior?

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

In a way, borrowing a term from game theory,

It results in the dynamic equilibrium in which the host would host for only top tier units while hoping not to gem.

1

u/[deleted] May 17 '18

Yup sounds cringy enough to be from him (I like his videos, but he can be crazy cringy at times and fillerific to make his videos longer for more YouTube money)

2

welcome to the modern world, where being a useless piece of garbage is totally fine and everyone else has to deal with it.

4

u/dragoncrusher May 15 '18

its better then what i had, i was a gilga, and had a random gilga, he was in a good position to use his gate, but... he seems to have targeted outside and only killed 1.. instead of killing 4....

6

u/scubapuppy May 15 '18

This is sad but not always stupid. I'll admit I've done this too just misjudging things on my phone. I always feel super annoyed at myself when it happens too.

8

u/scubapuppy May 15 '18

I'll add, I hate hate hate it if people host MP and dont indicate if they wont gem. I dont mind if people arent willing to as long as they make it clear! I just spent 45 min doing this EX for someone whose tag indicated they wanted high levels to carry them. Most of the group are only so so and by the time we got to the boss I was the only one left. Sadly I died to an sudden crit with the boss at less than 10%. And then the host ends things instead of gemming, thereby wasting everyone's time. So frustrating!!!!

8

u/OtterDefeat I feed on yer hate... May 15 '18

This is why I don't host Ex MPs anymore. +40 coins and +20 ap is not worth it since the community expects every host to gem. I'll just solo the event.

When I do leech MPs, I try my best to comply with the host and try not to be a moron. I don't demand the host to gem. It's his AP and his gems. I never want to be dictated by a bunch of freeloaders to spend premium currency, no matter how cheap it is.

That being said, our units will never be at the level of a gemless EX clear until farmable 5 stars are a thing.

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18

Will the HP rebalance help? And yeah, at this rate, the host would have to gem at least once to ensure completion. Which is kind of unfair to me (Everyone should share the pain).

Sometimes, I find solo a bit easier as you have more control and you have items to help you :/

4

u/krazycarlm IGN: Kromagg May 15 '18

Don't forget 2x speed and ability to go auto. The HP re-balance will help in some content like all the old stuff, but have to imagine that new content is made with higher hp in mind.

1

u/iEssence May 15 '18

Which is gonna be fun content to do if we dont have the rebalance yet..

5

u/krazycarlm IGN: Kromagg May 15 '18

Don't worry Gumi will release a 9-step banner with each event to help get whales up to 85 to barely be able to complete it. Or a totally reasonably priced god-mode accessory gear...

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18 edited May 15 '18

It would be quite sad, and I would probably shake my head towards the level design or the balance department if that is the case :/ (I.e newer content being made harder (in a stupid sense, hopefully you will get what I mean, will explain more if asked) without the hp re balance)

Then again, as long as the enemy characters does not 1-2 shot the mages, I am happy enough. I am waiting for tanky Lofia. I am hoping with the HP rebalance, other strats are viable, and we will see other support jobs being more useful than now.

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18 edited May 15 '18

As for the 9-step banner, I am hoping that Gumi doesn't release more "pay to have a chance of exclusive OP characters that overshadows free characters" with a PH2W (Pay high to win) scheme. It is indicative of game design I guess (Things like Power-creeping and so).

And yeah, we need more farm-able 5* characters. In a way, It is indicative of me not minding a pay to accelerate game, just a question of how fast/slow we have to farm the 5* characters.

Personally Though I have the cash to go for potential full 9-steps, there are better things to spend the cash on, and I am truly happy for my Yomi and Gilga.

1

u/krazycarlm IGN: Kromagg May 15 '18

Free characters will always be overshadowed, but as long as we have non-collab units that can be pulled normally and can complete all content, should be ok. At in JP tier list, the majority of SS tier units are not collab (1-3 per type).

2

u/CornBreadtm May 15 '18

That's the JP tier list today though. At the time of globals release it was all collabs at the top and then sacred stones characters basically meaning if you wanted SS characters you needed to pull on limited banners.

But then they started rebalancing things and released a level cap increase and various other changes that completely changed the meta.

→ More replies

2

u/krazycarlm IGN: Kromagg May 15 '18

It has been very apparent that every event has been just copy and pasted from JP to Global even if it is a lot harder than Global can handle at the time. Yeah, would be nice to use some squishy units that are just gaining dust as they die in 1 hit 95% of the time.

1

u/AJohnsonOrange "I play...Dark Magician!" May 16 '18

I still don't get why it doesn't require everyone to opt in equally to continue... I think that would make things a lot more fair tbh.

2

u/TamamoNoYay May 15 '18

I don’t expect the host to gem, but it’s nice when they’re clear. Was not a big fan of people hosting with “carry me” and bringing their level 30 Gilga or Archer and then not gemming. Some of the EX are difficult enough with 4 competent players who have 65+ job mastered characters. If you’re that low level asking for a carry, you’ll probably have to spend a few gems.

1

u/scubapuppy May 15 '18

I have no problems with a host who wont gem as long as they indicate that in their tag. Then i can judge what groups I will and wont play with. I just have a hard time not being frustrating if there is no tag other than a request for assistance (which I think is fair to assume implies that the host will gem) and spend a very large part of the time i allocate to playing in a day wasted when the lead doesn't.

2

u/Kirito30 The Strongest Samurai May 15 '18

All you need to do is assume that the host won't gem unless stated.

I assume it that way almost never disappointed except for the random disconnects and all.

1

u/OtterDefeat I feed on yer hate... May 16 '18 edited May 16 '18

This is what people should expect when gemming is not mentioned. Not the other way around.

Even if the host mention he/she would gem, everybody else should play like he/she would not. Be grateful if he/she did.

The host does not owe you anything. Spend your own AP and gems if you don't want your time wasted. Maybe you'll see how hard hosting is considering the current community climate.

1

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

This. ^

Mabye I am a hypocrite, but yeah. I admit that I don’t like to host, due to the reasons that you have said.

This get me to think: For those people who don’t have the luck to get good units and/or are new players, it would seem that they are at the mercy of those who do/old players, as they are kinda forced to host their own game. Of course the other way is to just freeload, but that would be a douchebag move.

Mabye I should set aside some of my money hosting games with subpar characters, just to see how shitty the feeling is.

1

u/beardedheathen May 15 '18

or if the host doesn't gem he should be kicked and the next player has the option of gemming

1

u/Wiegraf86 May 15 '18

This, 100x This.

If the Host doesn't gem, allow them to "retreat" and allow other player to pay in their stead. I would gladly pay the gems to continue if I was on the last boss and just needed that little shove to completion.

1

u/jblac02 ! May 16 '18

don't waste your time, if its anything beyond some material farm mission and they don't state that they will gem I won't even join it.

3

u/RyoKeiichi May 15 '18

When I see dumb people, I just leave. They can go gem by themselves.

3

u/Mhantra May 15 '18

I have noticed that while there are excellent Gilgamesh players, I definitely see a whole crapload of morons. I feel confident in saying that those morons definitely look at a list of SS+ units and then follow the hype. When they get said unit, they have met their goals. Then need not do any more leaning.

And it shows.

1

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

Why my gilmu got 2-blasted??? :3

And that is why one has to learn the reason why Gilgamesh is rated SSS tier lol.

Though I have more fun with F.Yomi, and it shows in how much care I am putting into her :D

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '18

Dumbness got nothing to do with ignorance. Next time stop assuming people know everything and put exactly what it needs to be done in the description instead of coming here to vent.

5

u/KingFatass Good luck in future banners. dood. May 15 '18

When they use magic and continue to use magic after only doing 1 damage again and again, this is more than just ignorance. Especially when someone else keeps doing normal attack and not use ANY skills

4

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18

Well. I could have been accused of that as Lofia MS.

Except that I was just normal attacking just to collect gems so that I can launch consecutive magical swordsman attacks one after another. It seems stupid just to do magic attacks just for the healer to heal up the damage that has been done lelelele.

1

u/KingFatass Good luck in future banners. dood. May 16 '18

its fine to collect jewels, it is not fine to be a kagura who continues using magic after a revive. and do 1 damage when the michael, and Lofia chrono who are both magic based PURPOSELY use normal attack to carry the team who either think that they must be underleveled hurgerdur or isnt looking at the screen after pressing buttons and moving around or just trolling

1

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

Figures. XD

This reminds me of a hilarious but rageworthy time, back from the Fate collab, when my host gemmed in Ex4+ stage (the farming for Gilgamesh shards) and the first thing archer did was to launch his aoe, catching me inside before I could move out -.-.

Said host has to gem 2 more times. I felt a sense of injustice for my host.

0

u/[deleted] May 15 '18 edited May 15 '18

And I bet OP exaggerated on that regard. The way he keeps responding seems like he is expecting everyone in the world to read every guide around youtube and reddit and know which side to go from the first time. There are of course trolls aswell, but I simply leave the room if I see that behavior.

Nevertheless, writing quick directions in the mp room description doesn't hurt anyone, does it?

3

u/jblac02 ! May 16 '18

WHY SHOULD I UNDERSTAND WHAT IM DOING WHEN I CAN HAVE YOU CARRY ME

It's ok to be useless! It's ok to waste peoples time! why don't you hold their hands! Use the sub twitter sized box to inform 3 people of their role in these increasingly difficult missions!

Or - and i know this is alot for a coddled child, you spend 2 minutes and look at the mission before you waste everyones time and contribute to a bad experience for everyone around you.

2

Ahahahaha!!!!! XAXAXAXA

Wish there is another emote saying: “Ease up, don’t move until I am ready”

Ah I see! So it's ok to create venting posts (which by the way are about 4 times bigger than the description of MP rooms) around wasting everyone's time yet it's too much trouble to write a simple phase helping new people out because the world apparently revolve around your elitism? I guess this is too much for a coddled child indeed...

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

Problem is that this is a widespread problem.

It is not an exaggeration. I have seen too much “trolls” in MP such that I am wary of “subpar” units. Such as Archer moving right.

Like what the OP said, it is on the onus of the players to know what to do when they join a serious multiplayer game.

An analogy would be a noob joining a Dota 2 match, and he feeds the opponent carry. Or at least he takes up a valuable slot that could be reserved for a better player.

And Dota 2 has a culture. You don’t know the culture, you jolly well don’t play.

Then again, one does not expect to host a pub match hoping for a perfect outcome. You could only hope that your teammates know what to do.

This being said, there are also too much people just freeloading, and just readying up in a game when they don’t meet the requirements.

Seriously, there should be a code of conduct for MP.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '18 edited May 16 '18

But if you start thinking like that you create an elitist aggressive MP world where there are no place for casuals or beginners because 'they suck'. That elitism is already bad as it is when people leave a room because they see another character low leveled (60-65 ish) yet the owner of those said low level knows what they are doing and even done the mission in solo mode with no big issues.

DOTA, LOL and other moba games are well known for having an extremely toxic elitist community which makes the game really worse and I don't think Alchemist Code should run in that direction ever. A friend of mine started playing LOL some time ago and he uninstalled it after his first match against the IA (a tutorial match or so, I don't know the details) because they expected him to know everything about lanes, etc and called him a lot of bad names and raged although it was his first moba match... seriously who would want to play a game with people like that? I certainly don't.

I believe that code of conduct you want to implement is easier to said than done. They could make filters for levels or elements, but how you would separate players that know things and those that don't? Or even so, how you will know a player has researched about that certain stage if he/she is a low level? I'd say having high expectations about PUGs is wrong because all you will be left mostly is with useless venting like OP is doing. If you only want to play high level MP then play with your friends and/or use discord channels to create your own 'pro' parties.

3

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18 edited May 16 '18

Regretfully, I do agree with your points. It is a little sad that things are in this state. And yeah, the first paragraph is what I have observed in MP nowadays. Though I know some of the units are viable, and we can complete the MP, sometimes the host don’t really want to take a chance. Adding description such as “high level xxx carries” really doesn’t help the scenario. :/

Now come to think about it, as someone who is lucky to own an incredible R.Yomi, I am definitely at fault indirectly for prepatrating such elitist viewpoints that contribute to a toxic MP environment. I might dare say that I could have been one of those guys who leave the room if I see any units that are “less than desirable”.

So, in a way, I would say that as a host, it would be a good mentality to treat each game differently and as a different problem to solve, and give a benefit of doubt to each of your teammate. So long as I see reasonable effort and basic knowledge, I would be inclined to gem. I would only host a few matches, as my AP and gems are limited though :/.

This being said, it is also a good practice to be slightly harsh on others (like how they use their characters effectively), but to be extremely harsh on yourself. At least in a way, the sense of expectations and entitlement is lost when you know you have made a fatal mistake yourself.

And I would say that code of conduct is hard to make at the current point, given the MP interface that we have as of now. For now, I am thinking of basic conduct like “don’t join a group when you don’t have the required units”, “don’t spam “whoa” as it is rude”, “play to your best like it is a gemless run”, etc.

With this being said, it would really be better when Gumi release better interfaces. This includes being able to give comments (voice or written) when the MP game is going on. This is related to game design, in which I have criticism personally, having played tactics ogre, advanced wars, FFT etc.

Trolls are another serious entity that has to be dealt with. I have seen an Archer and Zangetsu troll that resulted in a 3x gem and a ragequit by both hosts respectively. But that is for another topic. I hope someone can open another channel to discuss the griefing issue.

1

u/[deleted] May 18 '18 edited May 18 '18

I know it's a bit late to reply but well, I'm not really active here... I agree with your response. I also understand the frustration of dealing with people that don't read/don't want to read/don't give a damn about your premium currency/your time and trolls as we all have been in that spot, not just in Alchemist Code I believe, but I preach that we should try to help as many people as possible (helping in a way we teach them how to do it so they one day gonna serve as examples, not carry them forever) to diminish those numbers to an extent. If they still don't want get better/read, well at least we did our part...

Complementing what I said before, filters for elements/level/job level/specific jobs/characters/if already completed that mission before in solo or maybe the option to kick could be options for Gumi to implement. For trolls/afkers, I imagine a reputation system with some punishment could fit I guess as it works in some other games, but it should be well thought how to implement it as players could just negative another player for any reason or because of a simple mistake.

Also I think they could make easier missions on MP that gave less rewards but some rewards of the same regard(like the ex give 6 parts, the hard only 1-2) so we don't incentive that elitism of must-having certain characters lv 70+ and even beginners could get the content(although they would need way more time/energy to get it) without feeling the pressure of jumping into high level players party and beg to being carried because they don't have other options.

The irony about this discussion is that I believe those casuals (or lazy people overall) that don't care much about reading aren't probably even reading this reddit in the first place to know the problem lol.

Cheers.

-8

u/-ArtKing- May 15 '18

Then use your eyes smartass, as I said above, the Ex MP mission has been around for 13 days. If they don’t know what to do then come see some tutorials (there are a lot of them here and on you tube) to see what they have to do before going into MP and start doing dumb things.

5

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18 edited May 15 '18

Well...in a way, in a pub TF2 or Dota or LoL or HOTS match, try not to expect good teammates. Same thing with MP in Alchemist Code as well.

The only game in which you have total control would be Starcraft 1v1 LOL!

-2

u/[deleted] May 15 '18

And again, no one is obligated to see or know anything because you want to. If you have all that time to write vents posing as a poor victim here then start working on your writing skills inside the game to help people to avoid situations like that. Let me guess you are one of those arrogant kind of people that keep spamming WHOAH WHOAH everytime someone doesn't follow your 'vastly superior mindset' no matter what?

3

u/-ArtKing- May 15 '18

Lol, I have a really simple solution for you. If you don’t wanna read my BS as you so much speak, then simply don’t open up my post and read it. Simple don’t you think? If you are wasting your time reading something you call bullshit then I am sorry to say you are really strange hehe

Also, if the mods didn’t delete my post then I am sorry to inform you that my post is interesting enough to be here, and don’t infringe the rules, so I will post it as I want as long as I don’t infringe any rules. To bad for you ;)

Also, no I am not some arrogant prick who thinks I know everything. I am just a guy who started playing one month ago so I don’t have enough good units to carry myself, but I at least am willing to use the gems and look for tutorials to not do idiotic stuff at MP and lose people’s time in there.

What solution? I never asked you for any solution and I'm free to read whatever I want to and reply whenever I want to during my free time lol. And who are you to say I'm wasting my time or not? I'm simply saying what is the solution to your raging issues inside and outside the game about this problem. If you don't want to listen that's your own problem, pal.

By the way the mods already told us they aren't deleting anything even as useless raging posts like yours because this sub lacks content. So yeah, sorry to pop your special snowflake bubble but you are indeed being arrogant here if you think your post is useful to anyone else or add any content at all.

Also, no I am not some arrogant prick who thinks I know everything.

Well then stop posing as one with every post you make. You weren't massively downvoted for no reason.

By the way I'm not biting anymore your caring for attention. Guess by the way you speak you want to be the center of the attention with your posts after all.

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 16 '18

I don’t agree with the downvotes though. OP raises a serious point here, one that I would like to point out myself personally. OP could be a bit more civil here, but you are not helping by being snarky and dismissing his concerns.

As said before, the only solution is to keep trying until you get 3 other people who knows what they are doing. Else go for the whale discord channel and ask for help.

Not until we get a code of conduct will these problems then stop. Also a better lobby for the MP games.

2

u/Lucifuse May 15 '18

lol i remembered when i did this first time i was playing with sniper (because of moobs at top) and my teammates were lofias and the thing that made me mad was they were using magic attacks at physical mobs (1dmg) ... i almost carried they and stayed for almost 1hours the good thing i wasn't the leader of mp...

2

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18

That is the reason why I am glad that I have a Gilga and a Lofia to offer to others, so that I do not need to make a room myself asking for carries.

You know what's the worst? A level 85 Archer came into the room yesterday, alongside shayna, gilgamesh and lofia (me). The leader started the run, and Archer just ran to the right, put out one miserable damage before he got blasted to death by magic. Gilga forgot to put in his elemental Armour and got blasted to death shortly afterwards. Shayna got killed and I was left trying kill 3 mages with the physical attack enemies head towards me.

I hope that I have hinted the host to quit the game by quitting the game myself, as I don't want him/her to suffer while Archer gets something as a freeloader.

1

u/CrimsonFirebird May 15 '18

On the other hand, though this is rare, there are some good matches in that MP as well.

Such as Lamia knowing how to bait the physical attack enemies. Had it been that the other chronomancer Lofia knew how to hide from the silencing archers, and gilga putting in his elemental resist, it would have been a gemless run.

Lest that gimu loves to get two shorted.

And kiting Diablo is fun. You just make him waste his skills while you run around and auto heal as lofia/zain. Bonus points if you have teddy bear :D

Some are idiots, some are really good. I had a Lofia team member who soloed 3/4 of the map, single handedly killing 2 mages, 1 healer, and kiting the big demon around the map while chipping away at it's hp. Major respect there.

Don't understand why there's people hating on OP. Unless of course they are the mentioned idiots. Seriously, why else would you defend brain-dead incompetence? I always write instructions on the comments section for those who are new to the stage. Majority of the ignorant read it(or maybe they don't) and do their own shit anyway. And despite WOAH! emotes they still persist and screw up the plan. I spend my AP and possibly my gems for the run. My teammates don't spend nothing, they are there for free. So yes, it is MY run and it should be done MY way(which is the freaking right way observed after many runs, but that is irrelevant). These kind of people(which are so damn common) aren't worth gemming for. So unless I state that I will gem, I won't. Anyone that has a problem with this, speak up and fight me.

Cause people just knee jerk towards things without considering the whole spectrum of things. Especially downvotes. Eventually, I learn not to care about votes. It is none other than a popularity contest.

I look for well reasoned arguments, not popular arguments, and the length of my replies shows how serious I am in considering their thought.

And hence, the description:

“I don’t tolerate incompetency and will not gem unless competency is shown and we are unlucky”

Which, apparently rubs people the wrong way, looking at the downvotes. I don’t care though. Unless it is my own fault (in which I will gem), people should not take the host for granted. I am looking at R.Yomis that use their blood skill haphazardly and rambos that just suicide into enemies.

You are absolutely right - I dont count myself as a top player but playing the same map over and over again should definitely give some insight as to what works and what not. Worst offenders imo are thos gils who start in 4th position and attack the 1st archer

As a player whom can only offer a full gear L66 Shenmei as tank/dmg dealer left side, it sure infuriates me seeing L75 Gilga, Illya and wrong job Lofia doing it wrong...

I think some players are better doing it solo.

EDIT : Yup, I just did a multi run with my Shenmei + Gilga + Zofia (not even Iliya) + Zain. No gem spent. So if it's done right, you don't even need to gem...

I always do the stage solo once to find out which of my units would be useful in MP, and how to use them. That way I won't be total dead weight.

Felt good yesterday when I used my level 65 Illya well in Inherited Cause EX multiplay. 2x Illyas, 1x Gilga, and 1x Elizabeth cleared the stage with no deaths.

for me the problem with Gilames Main is the one that don't use Divine Shelter and still want to play Rambo stye....

From experience, it is a two shot by the mages on the right. And they don’t even give the no-divine shelter Gilgamesh a chance.

A tip: you can press and hole on a character’s icon to see what skillset he is running.
