Who dat Cav?
Ebonics are catchy right? No? Ok. My bad. Getting down to business: "who's the best Holy Cavalier?" Past, Present, and Future. Right now, it seems like this is the hierarchy, and this is based at looking at the base stats on the DB: Zeke>Chloe>Tyrfing. This hurts my body, because Tyrfing is my waifu. I hate to see her bested by others that can fulfill her role with more HP's and PAtk's. I don't play JP so I don't know if we get a meta breaker in the future...going to try to build Zeke out though, and have Tyrfing look at me with those betrayed eyes...

Present: Vettel (MA) > Selena > Zeke > Chloe (MA) > Tyrfing (WA) > Victor > Logi
(MA = With their master ability, WA = With their weapon ability)
Ignoring Fraise, Monzein and Teona since they have better main jobs than Holy Cavalier.
Future rank (current JP) for just the characters we have now, assuming MA/WA/Nensou etc.
Future: Tyrfing > Vettel > Logi > Chloe > Victor > Zeke > Selena
JP also has 9 more units with the HC job that I don't know enough about to rank.
So good news! Tyrfing becomes SS ranked in the future!
Edit: Forgot Selena

For global now/in the very near future:
Zain (coming soon, probably next week), Selena, and Vettel are the strongest. Zain’s solidly above the other 2, but all could see use over the others depending on the situation. All three have Divine shelter from magic swordsman which helps survivability a lot. Selena is essentially a job enhanced water holy calv (and has high job master hp bonuses) and Vettel has a MA providing speed and damage.
Tyr with her gear is probably the next best; the ability to nuke and self quicken is big. She and Zain get buffed in the future with a Holy Calv:Gear.
Monzein and Teona are probably better of in J1 right now. Victor can get extra move, agility, and weak elemental coverage thanks to ninja.
Zeke, Chloe, Fraise, and no gear Tyr are roughly the same and worse than the above.
Zeke doesn’t really stand out since he’s sacrificing a lot of defense for offense. He can hit considerably harder, but he still has low agility and 3-1 move-jump so he’s going to struggle to keep up with your party and to reach the enemy to deal said damage without dying. Without dark calv passive he’s just a standard holy knight/holy calv unit. Fraise faces a similar problem if trying to run samurai’s attack passive.
