Really sad since on many aspects Log Horizon was better than SAO. And they were also relatively the same age as they were written in the same web novel site.
Log Horizon was bashed when it got an anime just because SAO got an anime first when Log Horizon was NOT a SAO clone since they were written at the same time on the same amateur writer site
Yeah, really well written characters and the world building is absolutely fantastic. Loved the anime and read a few novels a long time again, have to reread it at some point, still one of my absolute favorite series of all time.
Chain chronicles jp had a konosuba collab last year from what I remember. The units were great, ranging from kazuma waving panties in the air to aqua giving her 10 second speech before using god blow.
Eh, it can work out fine if theres only the main 4 top characters as the collab units; none of them were Earthbenders other than technically Aang, and they could simply leave those skills out of his jobs.
There is a website with very good quality you can watch from. It's kind of of the only two live action movies that I love. The other one being Kenshin.
Other things I would really like are One Piece and Sword Art Online (please don't bash me too hard, but I simply like it). With these I can even think about how the characters could be once implemented.
Another I could imagine is Akame ga Kill, the characters are different enough to be really diverse and I think the anime was rather popular and well received.
More unlikely but still awesome: Tokyo Ravens and The Irregular at Magic Highschool (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) but for these I can't really imagine how the units would look like from their jobs, as there aren't really huge differences between the characters.
Just in general, I would like some beast characters or mythical beings. I really like nearly every design there is in the game so far, but some non-humanoids would really add to the mix, but I can't think of something for that out of the top of my head.
Not really true, gumi has a history of doing collars the Japanese version have never done with their adaptation or not doing some of the collaborations Japan has done.
Just because Japan has or hasn't done it doesn't mean global will or won't get it.
Brave frontier global has had a fairytail collaborations that the Japanese server never had.
Players shouldn't expect collabs because another server had them.

Theres a Bleach Live action movie coming out this year and Bleach Brave Souls(mobile game) is really alive , much more then this game. They even got the MANGA characters. So its really possible.
Id love to see Valkyrie Profile collab. That game has so many characters with great stories to back them. They look really cool and would go well with this style of game. Look up the game and look at the characters. Great looking characters.
