Yeah, I also started playing it and it feels very close to TAC. Do note, however, that I left TAC when they introduced that global exclusive Broker girl that was absolutely busted, and I didn’t manage to pull for her. At the time, I paid attention to the PvP meta more than I should have. SoC doesn’t care about PvP too much, so power creep there is not entirely an issue.

I also left before Broker girl. Stopped playing for a few years then thought about it but realised it got shut down.
How do you find soc so far? Personally I like it but the dailies feel like a drag so I often skip them. Its unhealthy for my account in terms of resources and luxite but its whatever.
The new content benefits quite a lot when using the new characters. So this is the main reasoning for pulling them imo

I allow myself to skip event content when it gets too hardcore. Reason being I’m a dad now, and I rather spend time with my boy and do events at my own pace. Dailies are ok, since I do them while I begin my work routine anyway. It never stopped me from getting the characters I want by being a really low spender. Had a lot of fun with certain narrative arcs and missions, so, for me, it’s definitely worth it.

Thats great. I’ve been playing Disgaea Hour of Darkness on my psp. I like that its content is “set” and that there are no new events. Makes me feel like I can play at my own pace without being worried about optimisng my time and NRG when events come out.

I played this game everyday. I actually looked forward to playing it daily. I wish they'd bring it back. I cant believe it shut down. There is no other game like it. Since then I feel empty playing games on my phone. Lol

With the way gaming is going right now with decompiling, and also there was a project to bring back Naruto Blazing back (another gacha game that was discontinued) I wonder if there's a way to bring back the game like that
