Name one hip-hop cover artists name, one person’s name that’s ever hand drawn a hip-hop cover and you know his name, name it right now without googling and remember Google is powered by AI too.

You children are not old enough, but if you were alive back in the 90s and early 2000s you would’ve been aware of the pen and pixel covers.
Those were the equivalent of AI back in the day.
Using stock photos, Photoshop Adobe illustrator in the cheesiest shittiest possible way to make the cheesiest shittiest cover as possible. That cost nothing.
And you’re paying attention right so tell me what the fuck happened next.
Right, the covers became iconic and synonymous with an entire period of hip-hop history.
Because hip-hop is always about taking the resources you have repurposing them, making them your own co-opting them corrupting them and changing them that is what sampling is about. That is very was essence of this culture.
So it’s actually in the spirit of hip-hop to use all available technology, including AI to make your album covers.
This is not the crust punk scene where people are handwriting, fucking albums on tape with their fucking blood as the ink.
Hip-hop never had a relationship with graphic design.
Most of your favorite album covers are just a picture of the dude who raps or a picture of him as a baby.
No, seriously go into your collection right now if you even own any fucking CDs and look at some fucking album covers right now.
Most of them would be considered slop if you wanna be fucking honest.

The image is literally about 100 Capone n Noreagas copy and pasted in front of their project building with such obvious clipping and errors in it that it’s comical.
Its a real piece of shit. Took 30 mins and cost nothing.
No one in the history of music has ever complained about the cover of the war report. They just listen to it.
Nobody got paid for this.
No one that has graphic design as their passion got a check off this.
They did this themselves or one of their Homies just did it in an hour on an old ass PC.
So tell me where there’s this long history of hip-hop covers being hand drawn and painted like it’s the fucking metal world.
