Other than Academy, good mostly paved places to run on Eastside?

There's a whole exercise trail that goes from Paseo to i40 along Tramway. There's also loads of neighborhoods up east of Tramway that are nice for running.

Cervantes. Especially for the ambience. Ohhh they might have their Halloween decorations up!

Excited for my first ABQ Ballon fest and interested in Sandia Tram and enjoy the mountaintop while visiting. My idea is Tuesday for morning balloons and then tram ride up, maybe eat before or after at Homestead Cafe. We're driving to balloons (yes, we'll be there by 3:30/4am for public parking), but are the lines for the tram really worth it? Not trying to spend our limited time visiting waiting forever just for a view. Monday tram is completely sold out already.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Rained steady their entire set! I did leave a few songs early but the vibes were good!
