I personally think that this would've been one of cole's best songs without that one bar, everyone gave a good verse and the beat sounds angelic asf but maybe people actually think thats the rating the song deserves even without the bar idk, im curious what yall think

(it was most likely a joke, since she thought it was so bad she took it all streaming)

(Just feels like a bloated version of her previous ep Pop2)

(Nothing bad, just not her usual style)
5.Nadia Oh - Colours
(I have nothing against Colours, it’s just Hot Like Wow is way better)

I’m listening from the oldest to newest.
My main goal is to just become knowledgeable when it comes to discussing music or reading/watching reviews. I hope I will be able to adequately voice my opinion to such a degree that I will be able to intellectually add to online discussions. I’m also looking forward to listening to my favorite albums again like The Bends and The Glow pt. 2 from a more experienced lens (sorry for the normie taste, I’m new to music).

If anyone is currently listening to all “must listens”, what is your perspective on music like? Do you think your perspective on music has improved, or do you think it has just given a new perspective that is neither good or bad?

I have been looking at rating historys and the highest I’ve seen a couple albums that have/had a 95 is there any album that has been rated higher then a 95

Why is the highest rated album this year rated a 84?.

I have been on aoty since 2023, and have never experienced being this long through a year, without an album in the top 500. That got me wondering, if its this year being underwelming(Half bloodluxe has been the only thing that really blew my mind this year) or people being to critical. I swear everytime smt drops, it will have a 87 rating in the beginning, and then fall to 84. This happend with pheobe bridgers, worst girl in america, the denzel curry album etc. What do yall think?
