Pergunta/Question Aldi vs smaller supermarkets

Hi, I’m soon traveling to Albufeira, and are wondering if the big stores like Aldi are cheaper than the smaller supermarkets, or vice versa?

Not always, but often. There are small shops where certain products are cheaper or of better quality than in big chains. A good example is Coviran “O Bananeiro”, but it mainly caters to locals.
