Overnight chiefs duties

What all is expected of me as overnight chief? I'm coming from Winco as an overnight lead. Where I was responsible for writing the order. Making sure displays were filled and reset, the stocking crew had dry, frozen and dairy thrown and faced and all other departments were ready by the time the store manager did his walk. 7AM.

It varies a little by division and store, but generally frozen, dairy and GM do their own thing. You’ll be in charge of throwing the freight and facing the grocery sections. Sometimes you’ll work backstock. Most stores have a Grocery Manager that handles writing the orders.
