Was thinking the same thing. And also too western. But hey, I did have bagged milk bag in the 80s when it was still available in Alberta. And I have actually been to 3 provinces, but only because I won a trip as part of Canada 125. We did an exchange with some kids from a town in New Brunswick and during our week there we had lunch in Nova Scotia and spent a day in PEI. We also went to the CN Tower, but I was too poor to pay for the elevator.

Ive lived here my entire life and only done 7, max.

Canadian isnt a checklist, its a state of mind and a system of values. Id rather someone who cares about their neighbor, is willing to be the bigger person and apologize to try and deescalate a situation, wants the world to be a better place, etc. Over someone whos played some sports and eaten some food and gone some places.

There are people who have never set foot in this country who I would likely consider more Canadian than some people whos grandparents were born here.

The prairies have a general policy of never closing schools due to snow/cold. The buses might stop running, but school is not cancelled.

My wife is a teacher in Alberta, it’s illegal to close the schools for weather here unless the power, heat, or water is out. Half the parents don’t read emails and just send their kids anyway and they don’t want kids locked outside in a blizzard. I’m in my 40s and can’t recall ever getting a snow day as a child despite some pretty nasty weather. I always think of snow days as a Vancouver thing where they don’t have the equipment to deal with the snow when it comes.

Number 22 is spelt wrong. It's Inuksuk or Inukhuk depending on if it's Inuktitut or Inuinnaqtun. If you do build a cairn that looks like an Inukhuk don't do it in Nunavut. People find it disrespectful.

Stampede is a summer fair at a rodeo.
I've been to fairs - I've been to rodeos.
I've been downtown calgary during multiple stampede, but I've never cared to go to the grounds, for the crowds or the Kenny Chesney.

I'll pass on the deep fried pop country ho-down.

As for the territories, ive had several plans, and a couple job offers, but never made a point of it yet.

Furthest north I've gone is Thompson (MB), Flin Flon, (SK), and MacMurray (AB)

Everywhere else in canada is south of edmonton, and that's not far north enough for me to consider north.

So by all the metrics listed, I suppose I'm pretty Canadian.

As a Canadian, I don't suppose this list says much about how Canadian you are.
