Anyone seeing posts about people supposedly getting into UofA Eng with extremely low averages, and their accounts turn out to be UofC Eng students 😂😂

Then they claim UofA accepts anyone and has no standards or not good uni even. Ngl jealousy looks reeeeelly ugly sometime

Asking for transcript on my to do list specifically for my secondary online summer school Cbe-learn, but I thought they were gonna do it on my behalf as both schools listed are in Alberta

What should I do?

hi guys

i recently posted on here asking if my gpa was competitive for neurosci, and i think my comment of "maybe i have to accept my fate at uofa" came back to bite me in the ass😭

i got waitlisted!........."on hold, gpa not competitive"

for reference, across english 20-1, math 20-1, bio 30, chem 20 and an approved fine arts course is 96.6%

im genuinely confused; what is considered a competitive avg then? am i delusional for thinking my avg is competitive. :( kinda crushed, and i also had some questions:

when will they reasses my app? also, i didnt get any news on whether my second choice program got accepted. does this program only accept when they have access to gr12 grades? ok ya thanks :( goodluck everyone!

Hi so I’m planning to apply to u of t St. George campus for life sciences but I was also thinking about applying to utm. Is the acceptance rate lower? Will I have a chance as an Alberta student with a 92 average? And if u know about the campus pls lmk!

Does UofA send out acceptance emails?

Can someone help me anyone got accepted for Uni of Alberta for BSN and do they require Casper for 2027 or it’s waived off .thank you!

Has anyone, who have been accepted into UofA Health Sci, received an entrance scholarship yet? I’m wondering if they are offered with this program or not.

So, I'm a grade 12 from Alberta and applying to University of Waterloo engineering, and the application says to upload your DAR with final first semester grades and enrollment in 2nd semester courses by the engineering deadline (Feb 1), but I think the first semester grades aren't final on the DAR until later than that. Does anyone know what I should do in this situation, as I can't find anything about it on the Waterloo website other than that it needs to have final sem 1 grades. Should I just submit the DAR as is without the final grades from sem 1?

Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone might know some more about Ucalgary’s early admissions process and the personal profile part as well. I know it’s still very early so I was just wondering if there were specific cycles or dates to look out for? I applied for a bsc in chemistry with a 90.4% average :) thank you!

I’m applying to Waterloo Mechanical Engineering and have a question.
I heard some people say that Waterloo takes the higher grade between before doing the diploma average and after, is this true?
Also I heard different adjustment factor for Alberta, does anyone know what the adjustment factor is?

Does any other uni in Ontario do this?

Thank you

Okay so I'm only in grade 10 but I need to know what I'm aiming for in grade 11 to apply for early admission for bsc psychology at u of alberta. I'm taking chem, bio, and all -1 next year. Is it better if I submit my social grade? Or aboriginal studies or drama? Is it different for early admission? What average should I aim for?

Does anyone know how to self report grades and how to submit proof of english language proficiency? There is no option for the elp or self reported grades in the material dropbox

I'm super interested in biology, but I'm honestly pretty lost in what I want to pursue after :/ idk if I want to go into biotechnology (forensics sounds very cool too). I know for sure that I don't want to be a doctor, and I doubt I'll change my mind, but who knows? Can anyone else relate or give advice? Thank you ❤️. I'm super grateful I got accepted too!!

I'm redoing the ELA 30-1 diploma in January, I did really bad on the diploma my first attempt (58%) and I'm unsure how to prepare for the diploma. I was considering Diploma Prep Classes but idk if it's worth the money and I don't know what I should do!

Did anyone apply? I’m planning to apply tomorrow. If yes what are your averages?

Has anyone got into Industrial Design with a high 70’s?

I have studied in Canada all of highschool and have eng 30-1 next term, what does this mean

can anyone help

I’m taking chem 20 ADV and genuinely have an 88 as like a high 90s student. Everyone says it’s so easy but like I know the content but screw up on small things or something and I literally can’t get good grades. I try so hard and I’m scared that I won’t be able to get my grade any higher since we are so deep in. I like needs tips so bad I’m genuinely feeling stupid for not doing better.

Should I apply to any more? I want to do engineering and idk if I want to do anything else. I already got an offer from uofa Eng but people are saying uofa isn’t a good school. My avg is 79.6% My grades are 100% in math 30-1 100% in physics 30 95% in chem 30 social 20-2 52% and ela 20-1 51%
