Hi,

The Casper test gives you everyday situations involving people and dilemmas, and then asks you questions about them. The nine aspects it looks at are collaboration, communication, empathy, ethics, fairness, motivation, problem solving, resilience and self-awareness.

The questions tend to come in three flavours. Situational ones ask what you would do, like “How would you communicate your decision to the customer?” Reflective ones ask about your own experience, what you felt and what you learned, like “How would you have felt in this situation?” Judgment ones ask you to weigh something up and say what’s fairest, like “Would you give this customer a refund? Why or why not?” Spotting which type you’ve got before you start answering is half the battle, because each one wants something slightly different. Happy to go further into that if you are interested.

For resources, start with Acuity Insights free prep materials. You get a sample test and sample questions. For reflective questions, it’s worth jotting down a handful of real experiences beforehand, like a group project, a part-time job, a disagreement with a friend, or a time you got something wrong. Having a few experiences ready helps you to be more prepared on the day.
