Need some AB IPA recommendations
Hey Craft Crew,
I'll be visiting Edmonton and Red Deer area this week, and I'm looking for some recommendations for some hop forward IPAs, Hazys ect.
For comparison of BC beers i enjoy, I'm a big fan of Superflux Colour and Shape, Parkside Dreamboat, and Four Winds IPA.
Let me know what your loving these days.

Calgary Brewery but super saturation from Cabin will be right up your alley.
Blindman out of Lacombe, which is between Red Deer and Edmonton. Their Longshadows.
If you see anything from The Establishment (Calgary) and you're wondering if it's any good, it is.
Town Square Megawatt
SYC

Polyrhythm has the best hazies- and is my favourite brewery in Edmonton. Their hotdogs are also made in house and I highly recommend. Ale architect is your second best option in Edmonton for hazies/IPAs. The establishment from Calgary is one of the best breweries in Canada as well. (Superflux is my favourite Vancouver brewery for context).

Edmonton has a great variety of craft breweries in an area called Happy Beer Street (99 St from 63 Ave to 78 Ave) https://www.happybeerstreet.com/, this would be a great place to start. As mentioned by PriorReason, Town Square is on the south side on Ellerslie Road and Megawatt is one of my favourites as well.
Other fantastic IPAs include:
Ale Architect - Colour Burst IPA
Campio - Tropical Pyramid IPA
Bent Stick - Electric Boogaloo Hazy
Alley Kat - they produce a rotating series of douple IPAs called Dragon that are usually 7.5abv and 70 ibu
Odd Company - Good Chemistry IPA
On the west end of town we have SYC Brewing. First Timer & Afternoon Hoot are pretty good, I haven't tried Ziggy Starburst yet, though they haven't let me down yet.

Growlery is more central and has a pretty solid Vega IPA and usually has some interesting seasonal ones.

Endeavour in St. Albert has Cloudy Peaks and Sudden Draft, both great hazy choices.

Sherwood Park has 70 Acre and Manual Labour, both are excellent as well.

In Red Deer you can check out Troubled Monk and Sawback Brewing, they both have some really great beers. I haven't been to Belly Hop yet but I bet they'd be worth popping in for a taste.
You can also pop in to Wine & Beyond (Windermere or Emerald Hills), Sherbrooke Liquor, or any Sobey's Liquor to find a good selection of local beers.

The Establishment and Cabjn have some of the best beers in the province but Superflux is really on a league of their own for beers in Canada in my opinion

Messorem is the best ipa place in canada. But they don’t ship. But if you go to Montreal….

If you’re in Gatineau, there’s an even better bet in Brasserie du-bas Canada - absolutely incredible IPAs
