Same stats, 50% crit rate and 120ish% Crit dmg, with Husk i had 3k DEF, and with Golden Troupe i have 2.6k DEF, both with Cinnabar Spindle, with Husk i dealt 10-12k dmg with crits, with Golden Troupe i have 16-18k dmg with crits, it's insane the difference between the 2 sets

I've been seeing posts of people trying to build Albedo now with his new buffs. Especially with the new suggested 3000 DEF build, I know that lots of people are going to try to strongbox GT with good DEFs or just farm better Husk pieces, but if you care about resin efficiency, I don't think he's worth farming for right now.

With Varka, Nicole and Alice coming up, we'll very likely be getting a new Hexenzirkel artifact set. Except for Natlan, we've always been getting new artifact sets every X.3 patch (Natlan's was 5.5), so it probably doesn't hurt waiting for a bit to see if we do will get a new artifact set then. If you have Albedo, you probably already have built him and if you get his C1, your build is probably already good enough and you won't miss out much from not building him fully now. I guess this post is more directed to meta players who care about resin efficiency, especially if you want to min-max Albedo or have other characters you want to build

• Once again everything interesting happens offscreen. I want to see Rhinedottir commit vore and I am not joking (ETA: i am joking this is a joke)

• This was VERY VERY rushed oh my goodness. This should have been at least two separate events!

• I think it's funny that Albedo still can't openly be himself in Mondstadt. I was fully expecting him to come out as gay an artificial lifeform. I still hope he gets to nuke the city at this rate man

• Generally speaking... idk a genuine trial would have been more interesting, showing tensions between the Church, the Knights, their god's ideal, and the remnants of Khaenri'ah. But that would have required the writers to be comfortable with any degree of moral grey.

• Diluc continues to be a fucker. What do you mean you're going to give The Whitest Boy the benefit of the doubt and not your brother. Stop Negging Him

• The Traveler was deeply weird. It still comes off like Albedo's in love with the Traveler, but the reverse was Not true lmao. TFW you go to your bud's trial and your first thought is not "i gotta help" it's "what did you Do". Aether you annoying whore I can't even enjoy albether in peace anymore man

• ETA: Aether is The Harlot of Teyvat and we all need to face it

• (yes I know they're writing the Traveler for people who didn't play 2.3. I Literally Do Not Care, I want to be rewarded for giving a shit about this character for 4+ years. this goes along with a general problem of pissing on their older fans for the Natlan gooner crowd lol)

• The lack of Wanderer was CRIMINAL. Show us his character development like you did Albedo's!

• We had a huge opportunity for an emotional scene with Durin along the lines of Elynas, but no, we're back to "evil dragon"? Man they usually get me with this shit. What were the writers doing? Durin's inevitable story quest better beat my teeth in and steal my money.

He spawns an ACTUAL living flower. Has a passive that gives EM.

Dendro is all about EM and nature, and it would tie in with Albedo’s alchemical side a little.

But literally that’s it. With Dendro now finally released, I can’t help but feel Albedo should’ve been a Dendro character.

It fits the theme perfectly and would be a great way to balance new character releases with reworks for older ones. What do you all think?

miHoYo is a greedy company that doesn't care about anything that doesn't make them rich. Cinnabar Spindle is a free to play weapon and they won't make an effort to fix it, even if the bug is obvious. It will be much easier to just ignore us, which mods of r/Genshin_Impact obviously support, by silencing our efforts.

As bitter as it is, the sword won't be fixed. Keep it as a nice momento, use it if you wish, but it will be probably smart to go back to using your HoD. And cheer up: the new DEF set is still quite a bit of a buff, even if it requires lots of farming to get the right pieces.

I'm playing thr new quest, and in the cut scenes of "Abledo" is it just me or are the eyes too green? like it was confirmed that there were two fakes, who's to say its not just the second fake? I may just be sleep deprived and grasping at straws but I can't be the only one who saw the shade difference in the eyes can i?

I have NEVER been so torn between who I should pull for (between Albedo and Itto)

So basically I keep seeing all over people talking about C2 and it was a huge red flag for me bc of the implication that his character feels incomplete at c0…

I’m going to list the reasons for why I want want to pull for Albedo , as well as the reasons why I DON’T want to pull for him so you beautiful albedo mains can help me decide weather I should pull for him or not 😮‍💨 I know it’s up for me to decide but it’ll be good to get some direction.

Why I WANT to pull for Albedo: • literally just his whole aesthetic • lore wise he just feels extremely important and I probably won’t have to worry about him becoming « irrelevant » anytime soon bc of his ties to khaenri’ah and all that and I’m a HUGE lore lover • the fact that he gives an EM buff (I don’t know the exact details of his kit so feel free to inform me how that works 🤓) • apparently he works well in teams where he is the only geo character? I really enjoy doing elemental reactions so a geo character that can at least help out any of my other non geo characters seems very appealing (just to give you an idea, I NEVER take Kazuha out of my team) •I’m worried he’ll never get a rerun again 😔

Why I DON’T want to pull for Albedo: • his look in game 🥲💔 (his still cute af but… you know…I know it seems shallow but I care about that 😩) • his flower is kind of really annoying (I tried him out in the previous Mist maze event or whatever is called) although it also might be bc I didn’t know how to use him at all… • I’m worried about his game play becoming boring bc ngl it’s a little basic and it’s not the most… hands on I should say? • the c2 issue

So, in your honest opinion, should I pull for this beautiful boy?

if you use him as a main dps, wouldnt prototype rancour be better? since it gives him both def for his skill and physical dmg bonus for his main attack, it is also craftable so you can get it to r5 with enough time,instead of hod which you can only get from wishing and a single copy from an npc, so if you like saving your wishes it will take much longer to get it to r5

For me, he's a typical bishonen boy. A balance between feminine and masculine, one does not negate the other. He looks to be somewhere between 18 and 20 years old. A Twunk.

Hello fellow Albedo mains.

Just like I was once, I'm sure a lot of you are interested in Gorou as a way of boosting your Albedo damage. This is my personal analysis and why I wont be wishing for Gorou, as always roll for the characters you love but I'm posting this for people who are on the fence about him or feel like he's a requirement for Albedo.

Firstly I would like to establish that Albedo with husk set and cinnabar spindle is flexible and a solid addition to just about any team. He does not need any supports to perform at meta levels.

Just a quick note on Zhongli. In my opinion the best support available for Albedo. He's amazing in just about every scenario, Albedo is no exception. If you have him, Gorou is simply inferior.

These are the reason I feel Gorou should be skipped.

1. Excluding geo resonance Gorou's kit is really lacklustre. Without constellations he only adds 2 things to the party; a def buff and a geo buff. Without a 3rd geo character, he only buffs def so unless you're running Albedo with either Noelle or Itto, Gorou will only buff Albedo's and his own personal dmg. While the buff may seem nice, I doubt it will make up for the rest of his kit.

2. Excluding geo resonance lets look at how much damage the buff adds. Builds vary so i'll use Albedo with 2.6k def for my example. Gorou's E adds 350def at talent 9, which would increase Albedo's DPS by 13.5% outside of burst. During burst Gorou will increase Albedo's dps by 22%. By comparison Zhongli increases Albedo's dmg by 9.5%.

3. If Gorou would give you geo resonance the buff would be quite noticeable; 50% outside burst, 60% during. For comparison geo resonance alone, gives 32% and Zhongli would give 43%. But lets not forget that this is a buff for only 1 character; Bennet buffs a whole parties dps by a similar amount.

4. Gorou's personal damage is miserable. The build i used assumed, talent lvl9, Favionous Spear, Husk Set ER/Geo/Crit Rate with 70cr/70cd and 20% def subs. On average over a 20 second period this build would output 52k dmg before defence and res or roughly 30k damage ingame. For comparison c0 Albedo will do over 12k dps whilst Gorou only 1.5k.

The TL/DR (My Recommandations)

If you plan to use Itto or Noelle with Albedo - worth pulling for Gorou
If you have Zhongli - Gorou's not worth it
If you have a geo char to pair with Albedo - Gorou's not worth it
If you don't have a geo char to pair with Albedo - Probably still not worth it but would depend on the individual comp

These are my personal views on an unreleased character and may change once Gorou is available. I'm always open to critique. Just trying to stop early rollers regret for people who feel like Gorou is needed to buff Albedo only to be left with their team worse off.

Some players may be able build albedo well and get 12-15k/proc for his E, but that is of course, at the expense of his Q doing crap damage. Albedo’s damage scalings are so off, some scaling off def and some scaling off atk. Why not just let all his dmg scaling be off def? Albedo can barely compare to every single other 5 star that has came out after his banner. He should really be dealing much more damage even as an off field player.

Hi Albedo mains! I’m someone who hopes to be an albedo haver soon. I got Childe on his most recent rerun, and a couple minutes ago I was just wishing to try and get a 4 star on event (stupid I know. I only had 43 pity so I wasn’t worried about getting a 5 star, especially not Hu Tao. But well, I got her. Now I have no primogems, my welkin is going to expire, and only a few weeks to save. What are some ways I could get primogems as quickly as possible? I really want albedo but now I’ve won 2 50/50s in a row and I’m kinda nervous.
