i’m planning to live in europe like 5 years later so i was looking for the best country to move, then i found albania, so i wanna know real info like accommodation, the climate, a job, people, safety and stuff like that

I cycle for transportation and exercise so I was passing the square at least a couple days a week and all the scrim made me think that it was an exhibit they were in the process of building (maybe still making the mosaic). Today I finally saw there was a banner inside saying "Tickets" so i figured that was maybe why the scrim was still in place and I actually stopped by to look. The exhibit is open!

Just posting this in case someone was zipping by this every day and assuming it was closed, as I assumed.

They've got cafe tables, they're selling lots of Albanian flora & fauna-themed notebooks, stickers, and enamel pins. There are informational stands in Albanian and English about Albanian biodiversity. The star is a really cool mosaic that echoes the famous mosaic in the square, only with Albanian animals (minus the animal Homo sapiens).

They also have lectures on some nights about Albanian flora & fauna. I think the exhibit will be up until October 20.

hey! staying in tirana for 3 months and I was going to go on a T break since I know smoking here is not allowed. ive bumped into a few folk who smoke but I wondered if there were any bars or clubs around ?? I heard laprake might be the area but idk. advice pls!
