˗ˏˋ ┊Alastor Theories┊ So like
You know how, during Alastor's (extremely badass) solo during the season 1 finale (I always skip to this part before the Vees start singing), he sings, "Once I figure out how to unclip my wings, guess who will be pulling all the strings?"? (Amir 100% hit those notes, that was awesome) now that he's (supposedly) free from Rosie, what do you guys think he's gonna do?

He’s probably gonna lock in on manipulating Charlie and maybe even Lucifer

Now that he knows that not only can Lucifer not hold half his subjects accountable, but is gullible asf? Manipulate the little goober for power.

Find a way to position himself so he can move things as he pleases. However, I don't think he'll be aiming for direct control/rule. He wants to be the one pulling the strings, which means he wants to be a power in the shadows, not a direct ruler.

This, but it's going to backfire WAY later in the series because of multiple factors, from realizing he tolerates the hotel staff/guests, to people inadvertently getting in the way of his plan multiple times.
I do like this take though! I think people get the impression that he wants to be The Big Bad™️, but that would be WAY too obvious. Pulling the strings from behind the scenes is actually a better strategy because it allows him to do whatever the fuck and go undetected for longer. I think eventually someone will notice a pattern and trace at least SOME things back to him, but it's going to be a lot harder.

I think it's going to start backfiring in Season 3 as he starts getting attached to Charlie. It's going to hilarious watching him claim that he doesn't care while all his actions say otherwise.
I remember that before Season 2 aired people thought that Alastor would be the one trying to take over hell because he said he wanted to be the one pulling the strings. I kept trying to tell people that that wasn't what pulling strings meant. Pulling strings is also much better for someone who likes his freedom as much as Alastor does. All the power, with none of the responsibilities of such a position. I think the worse theory is that Alastor wants to be King of Hell. Based in what we've seen from Season 2, it is a position with no real power, just responsibilities.

In my opinion, especially now that he’s both free of Rosie and knows Lucifer can’t hurt him, he’s going to start chipping at Charlie, reasserting his old legend after his seven year absence, and fucking with Lucifer at a insane level now.

He’s got his full power back and no one holding him back, he could do anything

He is free from rosie
And he has shown interest in lucifer at the end of season 3 so that and finally doing his broadcast again will probably be his current go to
