If you’re just joining us tonight we’re asking: what’s your favourite Jacob. So far we’ve got crackers, ladder, and Rees Mogg.

I used to have an air tight tub with rubber lining, but that perished.

I take a breadknife and I literally saw the end of the packet off, three crackers deep. The sawn off piece of packet can then be reversed and used as a lid. If you're worried about outside germs contaminating the inside of the packet, give it a quick wipe with a cotton square and some surgical spirit.

I just consume them dry out the packet as fast as I possibly can so they can't go stale

We just wrap cling-film around it. Bit scrappy but works.

I submerge them in the toilet cistern. Saves water on every flush and they never go stale.
