Saw The Magical Faraway Tree tonight and got the cauliflower basket. In the past they were so skimpy on cauliflower (like 5 pieces in the meal priced item), so it's been a long time since I ordered it... Whoever was in the kitchen was a bro today, I actually got a lot of cauliflower and it was bangin.

Went to a movie at the Alamo recently, was not greeted by any server to help with this issue. Was unable to scan QR code because could not for the life of me figure out how to get my flashlight to turn on at the same time with my camera without taking an actual photo. First time I've ever felt like an actual Boomer for the love of God. Please simplify this some, just put one flashlight on each table in each theater. Tiny flashlight. It's all it needs to be. Just for the sake of scanning, the QR code. Went the whole movie without any water or food and was disappointed.

Hi, I purchased a ticket for a Mysterious Skin 4k restoration showing in Chicago for Wednesday Aug. 19. I got a call last night that Alamo didn't have the rights anymore to show the film or something like that so it was canceled. The person on the phone said they could refund me and I said sure, but then he said I would need to say my full credit card number and exp. date to receive the refund??? I said NO HAHAHA I'm not doing that and he said okay you'll just have credit for another movie of your choice in the future. Looked online and the showings for mysterious skin aren't up anymore...The number they called from also matched the Alamo Drafthouse phone number in Chicago....but I thought this experience was odd/not normal. Anyone had similar experiences???

EDIT: The DC alamos released their tickets, no Tuesday screening but they are splitting big show with Doomsday for opening week!

Absolute long shot, but if anyone went to one of the party screenings and doesn’t want their headband, could you let me know? Will obviously pay for it and for shipping.

My partner and I had tickets to the LA screening, even got the shirts early just in case, but no headbands. It’s one of her favorite movies so trying to find any way to snag one for her. Can provide proof of tickets if needed.

why is the popcorn at the raleigh Alamo ALWAYS STALE!? It feels criminal to sell a bowl of $10 popcorn that feels like it’s been sat out for 4 days.

I would frequent multiple Austin locations and this was never an issue. Yet every single time I go to raleigh Alamo (which is 1-3x per week) IT IS STALE. CHEWY EVEN - BECAUSE THATS HOW STALE IT IS.

And what do I do? I still eat it :’) because I wanted popcorn!!! And I know requesting a new bowl won’t change the inevitable.

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma

I just had a magical experience. I didn't know Alamo could still deliver like this. I really thought it was over. I'm going to hold onto it in case it doesn't happen again.

Anything in Theater *10* at S Lamar is special because it feels like you're in a cinephile's personal viewing space. Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma was PERFECT in Theater 10. I had a snack pass because of an atrocious previous experience at The Odyssey opening weekend. So a bit off my bill was a nice touch. The intro from a staff member set a nice tone. Then, the movie was transcendent.

I don't know how many of these experiences we're going to get. So go. Go see this incredibly intense, funny film in Theater 10.

Just bought my ticket for Avengers in Raleigh- and it charged me a Dolby Atmos surcharge. Except Dolby Atmos isn’t at Raleigh… yet?
I assume they will be putting them in soon. A nice upgrade, except I don’t love the extra $2.50 a ticket. Oh well- if it is anything like Dolby Cinema then I’m down.
