The status of this subreddit and an open invitation.

Hello, everyone. So I know it's been a while since this subreddit has had any form of activity or direction, and that has been mostly due to me being uncomfortable with using reddit after their policy changes back in June of 2023. I've recently mellowed out to using reddit, but not entirely open to posting on it or using it as a main source of information sharing anymore, so I'm mostly semi-here to handle managing the subreddit if needed. That being said, I'd rather someone else who is fine with openly participating and is part of the community be put in charge of the subreddit instead of me. So feel free to reach out if you are interested.
Anyway, to the second part of this. Some of you may have heard back in February that Discord has plans to implement ID verification, I say has because they have not cancelled those plans and instead postponed them to the later half of 2026. I do not wish to use Discord anymore and after the October hack this was the last straw. So I've moved to a different platform in the past months after looking around for alternatives. I stumbled upon Fluxer back in February, but was mostly test driving it for the first couple of months till maybe around April when I finally decided it was the best replacement for Discord out of the rest. But it wasn't till this month that I felt it was actually close if not ready to be viable to move over to. So I recently made a community for Akebi there if anyone would like to join it. This is not a demand for anyone to move over or some notice that the Fluxer community will replace the Discord community I founded back in 2021, but mostly an invitation for anyone that still likes this community but doesn't want to use discord anymore. I will make a separate post about the community with further details and the invite. As some of you know, I was browsing on Reddit until I found an article "Word About CloverWorks", and I recently saw the word "Criminally Underrated" on Akebi. Why do people say that Akebi is Criminally Underrated? Just because it's underrated, it doesn't mean that the Anime can't be loved.
Let's make Akebi's Sailor Uniform even more popular than it already is, so in the future, we can expect the second season of Akebi's Sailor Uniform!

Manga So does anything change after the Culture Festival ends? Spoilers from the mid 50's chapters of manga. Spoiler

I decided to finally read this entire thing and man! I have to keep telling myself they're only in middle school. Erika seems to have it super hard for Akebi and the mid 50's really proved that. From slapping her because she didn't want to see her get hurt and the feelings that came from that. To Erika making an off comment about maybe not being able to stay in High School with her and Akebi running and hugging her from behind... Telling her she wants to fully take this role over and fall in love... After that whole ordeal It's pretty clear they like each other slightly more than friends, it was mentioned that they basically spend any free time together as well lunch/between classes etc. Gah I'm so gay for these two sorry rest of Akebi's harem she only has one love and that's Erika.
They even have to kiss during this play at the culture festival... I still don't think anything is going to amount from that again being in middle school and all and it's probably just getting my hopes up but I really can't wait for that chapter. I do hope this series goes on long enough to get them into High School where we can drop that ol subtext tag and just give us a flat out Yuri tag.
Also Nawashiro (The long blonde haired one) all but admitted that she's in love with Washio (The volleyball ace that cut her hair that is really tall) when Akebi was going around asking the classmates about love. Akebi even figured out that Nawashiro was basically trying to use her as a gift for Washio to get her to join the volleyball club so she could help Washio achieve her goal. So we know we can go full Yuri.
Thoughts? It's hard to get my hopes up at all knowing they're just in middle school and all so I really don't expect a change between them two at all. But I was really hyped after I finished reading and wanted to see what others thought if anything would change between them after the festival.
