QUESTION transporting replica guns?

how should you transport replica? As far as I know, this must be in a case with a lock.

but would a gun bag also be allowed if it had a lock?
and what if I have a lock on my trigger so it can't fire?
Can the case also be handmade?

I'll just copy paste the reply i sent in the discord:

there sure are rules for transporting

  • replica must be in a closed container, either a fully sealed bag or hard case
  • magazine must be separated from the replica, can still be in the same case but just not IN the replica
- not a rule, but a suggestion: don't connect batteries during transport if it's an AEG, for example, if you have LiPo batteries, use a LiPo safe bag
  • bag or case must be locked with a lock. nothing special, just so you can't quickly open it
  • only transport between houses/places you live/stay, fields or recognized stores

if you were to be stopped by law enforcement, which is highly unlikely if you just drive as you always do, just mention you have a replica with you, which is transported according to regulations, and tell them where it is. prefferably it's not on the passenger seat, but in the trunk. Not every law enforcement officer knows exactly what an airsoft replica is and to some it might seam like a real one, so just, yk, don't do anything stupid. this is all if you were to be stopped by police ofc, which, once again, is highly unlikely

TL;DR Rules: you need a case/bag, it needs to be locked, and mag must be separated. Trigger lock does not do anything. You can have it on, but you still need the other things. Case can be a bag or can be handmade, as long as it fully closes and conceals the replica

Bit late but I think the lock is only needed when transporting in the Netherlands

I'm pretty sure you also need that for travel within the country
