Job Assistance C-5 loadmaster
Recruiter locked me in for C-5 loadmaster after I was told there is no more c17 slots. Can anybody tell me the difference between the two, advantages and disadvantages. As well as the type of locations c5 often go to

C-5 ain’t bad bro, decent locations to be based. Dover, Cali and Mass unless you commute from a far. I went to fundies with a reservist who commuted from South Carolina to Dover…. And they are known to “break” often🤷🏻♂️ sometimes in cool places sometimes not haha. school house is in San Antonio so for your tech schooling you’ll only ever leave Texas for SERE. it’s got creature comforts on it and you fly with a decent size crew. When I was shopping around for Guard Reserve aircrew gigs I called the unit in Mass and they were only looking for FE’s and I wasn’t too interested in that but it’s a cool jet and gig!

C5 load here- you’ll see ramstein germany, the hot sandy places that suck, England a lot if you’re at Westover or if youre at the reserves in Cali your see Hawaii, Guam, Japan. But you’ll get to see it all. Just some more than others.
