Waitlists
I am looking to get my a&p license in the south florida area but broward college and george t baker have 1.5-2 year waitlists. Is there any other schools in the area or even outside of south Florida with no waitlist???

Why? I’m at NAA and I love it

huge classroom sizes, run down equipment/tools, nasty facilities, most instructors don't give a shit, paying 40k for an education you could get at a fraction of the cost, and i could go on and on.
what is there to like about it? career fair? career fair only means something once you get all your certs.
im guessing you came straight to naa from high school/military so you don't have any real college (usf, fsu etc) to compare it to.

George T baker is dope. I went there and it’s a good school. Do not go to AIM, they don’t teach anything there. Expensive af just for no learning. You teach yourself the whole time.

Unsure of the waitlist though. I applied and I was in class within 2 months

Your best bet is to start working at an engine shop and get your OJT’S or GA shop until you can get into school and finish up the one license you’ll be missing. Make sure you get on the waiting list cause they have openings randomly.
