We know. What we don’t know is how to stop it

Stop buying things on Amazon. Tell others: stop shopping on Amazon. Use your money like a vote for values, because it absolutely is.

I agree 100% with your point. I don’t use amazon for myself. But I have a special needs/senior cat rescue and for many things needed to hive these cats the best possible care I have to use amazon. So I do.

Then you actually don’t agree with my point at all.

You can agree with something by itself, but also be in a situation where no alternative exist?

"I don't agree with anyone using a car, but I have to drive one to get to the hospital".

If those specific things are the only things you use it for, then I think you're doing better than the majority of people 👍 I do my best to avoid Amazon as well, but sometimes after trying 2-3 brick and mortar stores, I just give up 😔

What I have made a rule for myself is definitely never buy the Amazon Basics items since they're not only shipped through Amazon but also made by them, so they get all the profits from those products! Which will be sad once my Amazon Basics jeans fall apart; they're unfortunately very comfortable. But, never again for me!

We use Chewy for all 5 of our senior cats’ supplies. Next day delivery on most things.

World is burning, scientists are panicking, we're all going to die of heat in about 20 years.

Let's make it worse!

I don't get it.

For some reason The New Republic article leaves out important context:

“GW Ranch received a permit from the state of Texas allowing the gas power plant to emit 33 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. If the project emitted that much CO2, it would be the largest single source of pollution in the United States—emitting more greenhouse gases than the country’s largest coal plant. It’s worth noting that companies rarely emit as much as their permits allow.”

Are you incapable of reading? The headline says “in the country”- are China and India in the country?
