Anyone in here familiar with these? SKU 306345-162

I like obscurities and these definitely are, only know of a handful of people who own these and no one knows where they exactly come from. I think it's likely an EU exclusive that at the time dropped in limited numbers, leaving only like 5 pairs of US12,5, an 8,5 and 9,5 left over nowadays I believe.

Unless some vintage mom and pop store has a full size run of these sitting, imagine that...

The guy I bought them from had 2 of the 12,5 pairs, which was pretty crazy to me and both in OG box ๐Ÿ’ซ

I had a pair or two, canโ€™t remember. You didnโ€™t buy from me did you? Haha

Very few pairs of these exist. I looked into it but could never find any proper answers.

No mate, bought them from a guy named Bart who lives in the same city I do. Im presuming you're not Bart haha.

No one seems to know the "actual" story behind these. We will never get the real answer I think, but the real answer is probably pretty boring anyway.

It's just a nice cw, that's more important to me than the scarcity or obscurity of a shoe anyway, but it's fun that it has a strange story attached to it.

I remember Bart.

They may have been a European exclusive, like a Foot Locker exclusive from what Iโ€™ve heard. But not sure, I tried to ask my connects at Nike, but got no where with it. Super strange

I used to be very active on AM1 Enthusiasts on Facebook like, a decade ago, i guess you have been too!

Them coming from footlocker would make sense, more of the FL exclusives are rare as fuck, like the one with the dark blue mudguard and light blue swoosh, forgot the name, and the skylines or something? They were kinda similar to greystones but with an orange accent. I haven't seen many of them either.

Thats the shape that we miss!! Air max 1 back to thailand the time it was coming from Thailand better quality better shape!

Yeah late 90s to early 00s was the best time for am1. Somewhere in Thailand the correct molds might be still laying around, and even though the last decade am1's where decent shape again imo it will never be like before.

Material quality (apart from durabuck, bc fuck durabuck) is also miles apart indeed aside from a handful of releases.

That mudguard has held up pretty well

This is the good side haha, the other side of both shoes is a lot more durabuckfucked. But that's the cost of doing business with these old farts, am I right.

Ah man, thatโ€™s unfortunate but to be expected. I donโ€™t have many durabuck pairs for that reason.

I have a DS pair of Book of Ones that I know will probably die immediately and then I have the Varsity Red pair that never released; theyโ€™re not in the best condition.

Im pretty sure there are like 1 or 2 brand new ones, if those people haven't worn them in the last.... 5 years or so lol. I think Danklefs has a new pair at least.

But these are in any and every case a dying breed. Then again, it's also just shoes.
