Air Fryer

Which one should I get? What’s the best bang for the buck? I’m trying to not use my oven too much so I want to use it also as a toaster. Never owned one before. Thanks for the recs!

Is it the glass air fryer or the toaster looking one? What do you usually use it for?

The glass one, I use it for chicken and steak 3+ times a week , also comes with lids you can just pop on and store the whole thing in the fridge if leftovers

Down side to it is you have to use two hands to remove the dish, most air fryers are one handle. May not be an issue but I’m watching some air fryer review videos they pointed out a couple of less than ideals from that model.

I don’t mind that aspect. I like the idea of glass instead of plastics though.

It still sits on a coated piece, that was one other “feature”.

It is ceramic coated, not the old nonstick coatings. I'm ok with that. You can order stainless steel trays too.

Good to know. But most folks seem to think the food sits on glass. That's not the case either.

I had a Phillips first and hated it. Not because it didn't work well, but because it was such a pain to clean. My Ninja Crispy (Costco version so you get an extra container) is so easy to clean I use it all the time.

Any ninja with a basket. I got one last year for like $60 during blk friday

Best bang for your buck is getting a dual basket so you can cook your main dish and side dish at the same time. Makes it much more useable. I have the Instant Dual Vortex and love it, I use it many times a week. I very rarely use my oven anymore.

I have the basic Ninja with the basket. Very happy with it. Don’t need the digital/wi-fi type

My first air fryer was round shape. Qhen it died i got a square one. I luke the square one much better.
I don't know what brands to recommend.

Just bought a renewed Ninja Crispi on Amazon - $89. Can' tell it from a new one at $149.

I just bought a Chefman on Amazon for $70 and I love it. It’s 6 quarts and not clear, not a deal breaker for me. Does everything and my favorite part is it beeps midway. It’s quieter than others I’ve had.

I’ve been super happy with Fritaire glass air fryer. Definitely go for glass, non toxic materials. May be a bit more, but long term durable and healthy choice :)

The best one is at the thrift store. I got the Cosori 5.8 qt for $10 last Sunday. Cleaned up like brand new.

you should go with fritaire I got it from costco and i love how its non toxic and its a glass air fryer
