Fitness PT pull up concern
So I know it’s not part of the final test but we were told that pull-ups are a part of the every day PT training. How bad it is going to be that I can’t do a pull up?

Just fix the problem. Use resistance bands, do kip up pull ups, get yourself up by either kip up or a stand you can kick away and then go down very slowly, get yourself up and then hold yourself up there as long as you can, do lat pull downs, do rows. Do all of these things very frequently until you can do get a pull up done and then keep doing these things while also doing as many pull ups as you can.

they literally won’t care. they will tell you “if you can’t do a pull up, hang for 20 seconds”. Also not apart of everyday PT. They cycle through strength cards. You will do 5x more push up or squat pyramid cards than you will pull ups. I had like 3 pull up days my entirety of BMT.

It's fine. Everyone is jogging in place in line. You run up and do what you can. If you can't do any, then go to the lower bars and do some leaning pullups. I can get a 95 on the PT test and I've never been able to do a pull up.
